need some reassurance, heavily moved pin

Ugh. So guys I'm about 8 weeks into a wonderful test e cycle. I was a little shaky doing the back part of my delt today and moved the pin quite a bit. I'm worried I may have missed the muscle with my 250mg test e shot. And I'll probably have bad pip. I was only in about 3/4", since it was reasonably pronounced.

I know its fine doing subQ but I'm just worried. Its my first cycle so I have that mentality like everything is wrong. When I pulled out the pin it was bent, not like that matters so much, probably just my muscle resisting the pin movement. Either way I've had a great time so far and am just making sure this isn't like a big deal. I'm always anxious I'm messing it up lol. What I am doing right is training, eating like a beast, and sleeping like 9 hours haha

I try and rotate sites. It never hurts to try new spots. With a couple YouTube videos you should be able to work some balls into pinning unknown territory.You will thank me next time you can sit down comfortably. Lol

oddly I haven't pinned my glutes. I'm just not that confident for some reason, but I KNOW on the top part of them it's like right under the skin. Don't ask lol. I always go for bis / tris / shoulder / hamstrings kinda. sometimes ill do half in each (~.4mlish) since they're small muscles. I know, I'm a noob. ream me please. Smile

Divide the buttocks into 4 squares parts and your pin should be in the Upper outer quandrant to be exact. Don't know what gauge your using but I usually go with 22 1 1/2 or 23 1 1/2. Don't waste your time with small injection that's a constant risk of tears and infections and not to mention a waste of pins.Another advantage with glute injections is you can go up to 2cc injections.I've known crazy gym rats even dishing out 3cc injections but that's way over your head lets just take baby steps.1 CC should be golden. Safe pinning!

I just pulled out a bent pin.. But I have less pip than normal LOL.. It'll prlly bruise up by tomorrow.. The big thing I think you should watch out for is when you start forming knots from scar tissue or to much agitation from the pin wiggling around.. That's when you wanna leave it alone or else the knot sticks around for months =[

eh I can already see a small bruise. probably won't be that bad. I've had knots for like 4 days max usually. I had one like that on my other delt and a tricep. freaking swollen, pretty painful to touch and a little hot. I normally try to massage it or stretch it and it normally passes. The first time on my delt tho I was really paranoid lol. Months would be HORRIBLE.

The knot wont be painful after a while but it will sit there and you have to let it go down.. If you continue to pin it then it just gets worse.. Happened with my quad one time

You'll enjoy a good bruise. I hit ventruglutes some 10yrs back and glutes went into full hard flex. Pulled out the 22Ga bent like a fish hook. We Live n learn bro.

Haha ouch. I think I hit possibly an artery or just a big vein in my hamstring a couple weeks back. I didn't even have to aspirate to know. I pulled out and there's still a huge bruise there. Bled pretty good too

Lol they used to be years ago when I would pin other stuff. Nowadays not so much. And I thought I had collapsed all those pesky veins.

pretty hard to bend a pin, what gage are you using?

I thought I snapped one off back in the summer. Used some tweezers and pulled it out. Started to inspect it and realized it simply came apart at the base right at the plastic. Weird.

25 man. That's why I'm saying I messed it up pretty good. Was too shaky after gym and wasn't thinking. Its gonna hurt, and may not have hit muscle solidly.

Thanks brothers. I know its okay in my head but its hard to get my mind to believe it sometimes haha. My Delts are lean. But I may have been on an angle because it was like the rear of my delt. Whatever its still in my body. The pip is gonna be awful and bruised.

You'll be fine it might take a little longer for your body to absorp the test but it's ok.

You're fine bro. Just may be a little sore from the movement of the pins. If you're delts are lean then 3/4 is fine. I use 1/2 pins in my delts when I pin TNE some times. Don't sweat it brother.
