+ 11 THE HUNGER FOR MORE
They say, if you want to make it through heaven, you gotta walk through hell. While I agree with this, I also feel those who are in ‘this’ for the long-run have made hell their permanent home, a residence. They soak up all the pain and suffering, because once these things become known to you, they come as no surprise- they are just another daily occurrence. You aren’t the first, and you sure as hell wont be the last. People have been there, done that, walk a mile in their shoes? Can you even lace them up? Be your own motivation and carve your own path.
"What have you sacrificed, had to give up, lost along the way? How much fight is in you? Would you die for what you love? So many people would sit idly by and watch something they love get taken from them. Fight for a little maybe but in the end they fall back, listlessly watching as the fight fades from their eyes. As long as there is blood coursing through your veins, there should be passion in your heart and rage behind your eyes."
Stop talkin' about it. Stop bitching and complaining. Excuses won’t solve a damn thing. You want some? Go get some and get it done – YOU are the only person capable of stopping yourself. Plans are great, but it’s the follow though that counts. When your judgement day comes, don’t be left standing empty handed thinking about what you wish you would have been done. You have 1 shot, 1 opportunity – to capture. Realize your potential NOW, not in 10 years. You think your competition is gonna show you mercy? Sympathy?! There they are, day in and day out, wating. To fuck your day up, to beat you down until you beg for it to stop, on your knees with a gun in your mouth, helpless. You want some? Go get some and get it done.
So this brings me to my conclusion, what kind of person are you? The type to sit back and watch opportunities pass you by and make excuses, or grab them by the fucking balls and OWN them? No one is going to wait around for you. Its time to ask yourself, how much sleep are you willing to give up? Stay up late to outwork people, pull all-nighters to get work done, or run on no sleep because you’re busting your ass, working 2 jobs to support a family. Its easy to be poor, its easy to be small. The largest percent of the world falls into these categories. It takes sacrifice and an inner hunger for more that cannot be taught to progress, climb the ladder, EVOLVE. So this is me, telling you to work your ass off. All great sacrifices pay off one day. Be relentless, no regrets, only valiant effort.

testaholicNeeded this today.
Nice post and timing...sometimes complacency can creep on you, especially this time of the year. It's good to have reminders like this not to take things for granted, to keep pushing and have a thirst for whatever you do in life. There's always competition. Don't belittle or fear the competition, but let them drive you to be your best. +1 for the food for thought beyond aas.

Very well articulated and hugely motivational post. This, Muta proves that creators create opportunities for themselves and waiters wait for opportunities to happen to them.
This my brother muta is the creed i live by day after fkn day year after fkn year... and guess what man!.. I WOULDNT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.. PERIOD!
+3 for an arse kickin post bro
That just motivated me so much! Out of nowhere too, and right when I needed it most. Here I am sitting at work about to leave the office early because I just felt like I didn't wanna deal with these ppl anymore, but after reading this I'm staying late like I usually do because its always worth it. I'm trying to be self made, I have higher ups but not a "boss". I can't get into exactly what I do obviously, but I chose the self employed route and I work with others so however much effort I put into my job determines how much money and success I make. Thanks muta I definitely needed this today.
Damn boss. That says it all!
Well damn! I didn't know you were so articulate. This make me wanna go break a chickens neck, eat it raw dog and go hit the iron!! Good shit Muta! I love it!! I live by this! And it goes for every aspect of life. That old cliche "good things come to those who wait". BULLSHIT! Good things come to those who work their fuckin asses off!! Patience is a virtue, but taken too far and it's nothing more than cowardice.
