16 hour fasting proves to be best weight loss program

I been reading many studies showing that for instance finishing dinner at 5pm and don't consume anymore food
till 9am the next morning. They are saying you can eat whatever you like in those 8 hr eating periods and still lose weight.
I'm not sure if you can drink in those 16 hr fasting periods.
Has anyone tried this ? What's your thoughts?

I actually had lots of success fasting on 14-16 hours, lean gains style and all my food started to come in post workout and would eat the rest of the evenin, then go to work with a job where I did lots of working all day. Workouts were very strong as I was pumped ot be off work/gorge food soon. I wouldn't knock it til you tried it. I lost ZERO strength btw, and some lifts like my squat saw a steady increase.

Best weight loss programme: 'No such thing' not for everyone but you can try things out to see what works for you. Watching what you eat and exercising is a good start. Everyone should know their maintenance calories, then you can work out where you want to go. Having a deficit of 500 cals per day will allow you to lose 1lb per week.

I heard the 23 hour fast was better. Gorge for an hour and fast the rest of the day. I've been fine-tuning it to minutes actually. I'll soon be working on gorging my one meal in seconds. After that I'll just stop eating entirely and get super thin! Yeah!

Unless your 500 lbs that's just plain unhealthy and detrimental to muscle growth.

Dossier what do think the effects of the 16hr fast would be. I read there is no muscle loss and lots of fat loss. At least in a lab setting with animals

Not to sure there are studies go read them. Supposedly more strength as well

If your trying to build muscle this theory need not apply. I use intermitent fasting it seems to work. Ill go for a low cal keto diet one day out of the week.
