+ 1 Why do you take steroids?

Supp bros, so i was thinking this can be a cool topic to know a lil bit more about eachother, im curious to know and im sure im not the only one but why do you guys n gals take steroids? I wanna see who are the Bodybuilders that plan to compete/or do compete,powerlifters,sports athletes like football,baseball etc., (well of course the TRT bros), and just the plain ol gym rats that are in this game just to look there best.
My money is on the Gym rats that are the majority. Lol
Lets hear it guys WHY DO YOU TAKE ROIDS?

Why do women get breast implants? to feel better more confident and attract the opposite sex. I do it for the same reason. Although I do plan on competing locally

Gym rat tell you the truth i new at a very young age i would do AAS one day . But i was 35 years old when that day came. AAS late in life baby.

The vials just look so cool hangin from the rearview of the 69' LTD.... depending on who you order from, makes a nice addition to salad oil. J/K... I was put on TRT several years ago and decided if I gotta stick a pin in my ass (among other things).... I might as well have some fun Smile

Originally I used it many moons ago to improve performance. Fast twitch muscle, explosive power, aggression and super human strength. Now for the most part I use AAS to stay as healthy as possible! I use it to push myself past all genetic barriers. I use it as a tool. Everything I've ever done was out of fear of being mediocre. This was no different! Keeps things interesting in the gym. Motivates me to stay on top of my diet and training. Plus I like walking into a room and the men put their heads down while their women look up. I can throw around a 250lb man like a rag doll (when necessary). I'm strong, i'm healthy, and I look good naked! So basically the same thing Tread-m said in a similar post many months ago......

well it started off TRT many moons ago but now I am doing it just so I can keep up with the sex drive of my freaky ass wife, plus marky mark aint got shit on me now in a pair of calvin klein briefs ;)

well, ya know the way I see it is that after a certain amount of time someone is into being a health and fitness nut, there will come a moment where either one has chosen to investigate PED's on thier own or someone else will suggest/introduce it to them...and then it is up to that particular individual to make the decision to proceed with commencing forth on this fantastic journey.
I myself looked into it more for the medicinal attributes of AAS and GH. I also like to think of it as my anti-aging medication. For years since I was a teenager, I was into some physically destructive activities...one was downhill skiing. I broke a few bones, murdered some ligaments and tendons, and also almost died several times. Once I got into my later 20's, the effects of my reckless lifestyle began to take its toll on my body and activity levels...I really didn't like it, and it was quite depressing. I wanted to keep pushing forward balls to the wall, so I switched gears and took my energy/intensity into the gym, tinkered with my diet for several years, and learned some things about the human body that I didn't know before...and THEN I took the plunge into this lifestyle....and I FUCKIN' LOVE IT!!! That's ONE of my stories, LOL.

Making/meeting new goals. Getting to 185 natty is easy so pushed harder up yo 205. Rbuilding now off injury but will hit the bigs again. Always been stocky...was sponsored. Time to see what i can really do

Statistics showed that over eighty percent of aas users are gym rats. I'm one of them. Always been the small skinny guy and wanted to change that and went to the gym got big slowly and hit a plateau and went to the genetic manipulation route. Want my physical image to match my mental image.

noticed strength in the gym starting to subside when I turned 50.Went to dr. about TRT and got the your test is normal for "someone your age". I say fuck that! I have always been one of the strongest guys I know and kick 25 yr old ass all day long at work.I don't look or act 54 yrs old and I am going to go out kicking and screaming,not with a wimper!So I self medicated TRT and loved It so much decided to try a full cycle. All I can say is YA BABY! FEEL 20 yrs old again, pound the wife into submission nightly,and Iam not going back.Just stated 2nd cycle and have a new resolve in the gym,hell for life in general.Now my motto is "BRING IT ON"!

Lol like cam said. I just want to look good and be strong as fuck.

Guess I'm a gym rat. But I really just enjoy the lifestyle too, eating good and working out hard. It's nice to see real results after putting all that hard work in.

I like powerlifting, actually I love it. But I don't have the typical body for it - huge as fuck and strong as fuck. Naturally I struggle to gain weight, fat, strength. I have hyperthyroid.

The only 2 things I don't like about powerlifting is when it gets out of control. When you just say fuck it get huge as hell including tons of fat gain to add to your bulk. I also like my joints and do not want to hurt them by squatting 600lbs lol. I don't see the point in putting your body at risk for injury just to lift heavier weight. Numbers don't mean everything to me.

It is still an ego boost to be able to hit 3+ plates on bench, 4 on squats, and 5 on deadlift. But I will not lift something heavier than necessary. Usually powerlifters that get hurt have incredible muscle strength but their joints are always the part to fail. Human joints can only take so much
