Two Beginner HGH Questions
I'm a young guy with many more years and steroid cycles ahead of me before I'll add HGH into the mix. However, I've been doing some research out of interest and have two questions:
-
Since HGH works through hyperplasia (creating NEW muscle cells), wouldn't this technically be a form of "permanent gains"? Because those cells will always be there? By this I mean, even years down the road if I lose muscle size, the NUMBER of cells will still be greater than if I had never used HGH, and therefore I would still have greater potential for muscle gains years down the road? I could've worded that better but I hope you know what I mean.
-
Also, I know that HGH is great for fat loss as well and so I'm just curious why it doesn't also increase the number of fat cells?
These are probably silly questions but I couldn't find an exact answer to them online.

Anongreat question. hgh may increase the number of cells through hyperplasia; however, maintaining muscle cells - for instance - is primarily determined by the overall metabolic pathways that are engaged. if the anaerobic pathways are the primary, you may find yourself in an overall anabolic state. if the aerobic pathways are the primary, due to a chain reaction at a cellular level, your body may be in an overall catabolic state. diet plays a huge role in this as well; if your energy pathways during exercise are primarily anaerobic but you don't get the proper nutrition, guess what? catabolism takes over to deaminate proteins for glucose and glycogen synthesis. therefore, your muscle cells are broken down and no longer contribute to the roles of skeletal muscle tissue. exercise is only the stimulus; nutrition is the building blocks. +1 for such a good question
lpetThat totally makes sense; I didn't consider that maintaining those new muscle cells is an issue all on its own. It seems that if you maintain a proper diet and workout regimen that you can reap the benefits of HGH for a long time. Thanks a lot!
AnonNo problem and I agree with you. Just got my rips in today after a month of researching and tailoring a gh/PCT regimen. Let you know how it goes in 10 weeks
lpetSweet, looking forward to seeing the results.
very curious on that first one.....
