max sodium while on?

ad

i see a lot about how many grams of protein, fat, and carbs to consume on cycle based on goals. but nothing on sodium. all anyone ever says is keep it to a minimum. whats the actual mg ed you should stick 2?

I wrote a forum on sodium. Max sodium has a lot to do with cycle, bf,, etc etc. When i was running my test/eq at 600/600....i had my lean meal of fish n veggies with a side of refried beans. Bp shot up and had great bp headache. Eq raises hematocrit so bloods thicker and sodium gets sketchy quick if not downing over a gallon of water. Off top of head...3600Mg sodium Max per day.

correct me if i'm wrong, but is'nt the rule of thumb "the more sodium u have the more water u need to drink" which would mean there's no real specific amount as long as u drink enough water to dilute the sodium

More sodium + more water = high blood pressure. Think about it..sodium absorbs water. If your blood sodium levels are high drinking more water is just facilitating sodium to pull more water into the vascular space.

not necessarily, some water retention is good, we each need to find the right balance for ourselves

I found out the hard way that slight dehydration and refried beans is bp blaster :(. So yes, i downed half gallon water and an aspirin. The FDA guidelines are really that low but keeping it that low or below is a chore. All cooked yourself foods and steaming veggies makes it work.

yup watching sodium intake can be hard, id say my daily sodium intake is pretty low but i do have some pickles with my meals here and there, its not gonna kill me yknow
