Hitting a vein =S

So I know your not supposed to feel any pain or as much after you pierce your skin but every time I hit a vein I feel it and my entire body is like GTFO. At first I thought I was hitting a nerve but this has happened a lot. To test it I aspirated early.. Nothing came out.. But it hurt (A weird kind of pain but not terrible) so i pulled out and sure enough dark blood came spewing out. I actually have never injected by or in a vein and got the cough.. Does any body else have this happen when they hit a vein or am I just weird?

DAMNIT I went through 5 needles yesterday on my right quad and gave up and pinned another muscle.. I try again today and BOOM no vein and I get it first try
Anonyou need to find you a pretty lil nurse lady friend. before long, you'll start looking like a pin cushion.
Ehhh my gf offered to pin me one time.. I'm not a fan of being the learning curve for her injection skills tho
Yeah it's a new uncomfortable experience. I just nicked a vein a couple hours ago and had blood and oil squirting out everywhere. Not fun.
I once injected directly into a vein and the pain shot all the way down my leg and to my foot, and I can tell you it was pretty painful. The funny thing I noticed was the veins in my calf were buldging out----looked pretty cool for a few minutes.
Lol. 10 bucks says goth injected directly into the vein on purpose.
20 bucks says that wasn't the last time that he did it.

It seems to me that when it hurts at the skin level, when I push farther it always goes wrong. So, when I pin if it hurts more than usual at the skin level I move points and I always have luck. ;)
Yeah the only time I pushed through the pain I ended up with a gigantic quad for a few weeks
Anonmy wife is a nurse, so she gives me my shots. i always seem to fuck myself up somehow when i do it. i either can't keep the damn thing still or i bleed like a stuck pig. i rarely have PIP when she does them, but i almost always do when i try myself. as for hitting the veins.. aspirating will only tell you if you're within close proximity of a pierced vein or inside one. it is possible to go thru one on the way in, aspirate and see no blood, then pull out and start bleeding. she tells me that they're teaching in nursing school not to even aspirate anymore... i must be extremely vascular in my left glute, because no matter where she sticks that side, it bleeds 90% of time.
My wife's also a nurse and said when she gives IM shots there's usually a little bleeding. She was surprised the first time she stuck me and I didn't bleed at all.

Anoncrazy huh? i have a friend that's extremely paranoid about hitting a vein. tells a story about how he went into cold sweats and wound up in the hospital within a couple hours of injection. we had my wife show his wife how to give his shots so he didn't have to do them. he flipped shit when he saw that blood come out of my left glute. lol
shit the same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago, i felt faint and had cold sweats AND this was mid-pinning, i finished pinning and then collapsed on my bed for about 15 minutes till it went away

i feel real aching bad pain when it happens. but i always pull out and i inject somewhere else
Yeah that's exactly what I do.. I gave up on pinning the muscle it happens to because it just become so touchy after I do it and I move on to another muscle
