Good Source of Fat
ad
How many of us use Hellmann's real mayonnaise as a good source of fat? I put 2 tbsp. on one chicken meal along with a tbsp. of reduced sugar ketchup. If you don't know, Hellmann's is rich in omega 3 (ala). It has 650mg per serving.

I eat an avaocado every day!
Okay, I did some research and it seems that epa/dha is the more preferred source of omega 3 fatty acids. ALA is converted to EPA/dha in the body. Flax seeds are a source of ala. The best source of omega 3 is wild salmon and sardines. Fish oil is controversial since there is reason to believe that the supplement can thin the blood and lead to excess bleeding. Now, for my hellmans mayonnaise, it contains ALA because It's made from soybean oil. So, maybe I'll stick with the Dha/epa omega 3 fatty acids. I will continue to use the fish oil supplement until my bloods show otherwise. Finally, I believe olive oil contains only 100 mg ala, but I need to double check.
Hell, since I'm letting lose: I eat fat free cheddar cheese in my scrambled eggs too. Oh yeah, and I may have a tbsp or two A-1 with my sirloin or ground sirloin burger. Also, I may drink a diet sods or two sometimes. So be it..lol. However, I do appreciate the replys.
you can try other things out there im sure, im not to sure about mayonnaise or ketchup, avacados are high in fat, natural peanut butter, seeds or legumes these all are not all to high in price and you will get your healthy fats there
I don't eat REDUCED SUGAR KETCHUP for fat, that would be ridiculous, since there is no fat in it...lol. It only has 5 calories and 1 carb. It's good shit. I won't part with my ketchup bro..lol
Get your fats through whole foods not that crapy mayo or freakin ketchup, throw that shit away. Eat quality fish for omega 3 dude.
Im sure someone will chime in telling you what you want to hear saying its fine eat your mayo and ketchup.
So, we shouldn't be using olive oil on our salads or fish oil in our shakes? I understand what you're saying, but I can't afford to eat wild salmon everyday. Besides, if I'm getting 100 g fats, 100g carbs, and 400g protein and stay around 2900 calories for a recompdiet on cycle: then what's the problem. I've always heard that hellmanns is a good source of fat like egg yolks, for example. Also, reduced sugar ketchup only has 5 calories and 1 carb per tbsp. I will burn that off taking a shit.
bro u dont need to eat salmon everyday, olive oil, natural peanut butter, some almonds, just dont eat shitty fats
I know bro and I eat the Fuck out of that shit. However, I eat hellmans, not fucking miracle whip, every once in awhile. I don't care what anyone says, but that shit is a good source of omega 3 period.
i gotchu bro, well if u dont mind gaining a bit of extra fat while u bulk than go for it, and i also eat the reduced fat ketchup btw lol makes everything taste better
No extra fat bro, 100 grams whether It's from olive oil, egg yolk, hellmanns, almonds, organic peanut butter, fish, fish oil, red meat, turkey or whatever, I stay within 100g period and Im doing this now for a recomp diet. As long as, I keep up with cardio then all is well. If I start to slack then I may show signs of extra fat or lack of definition in my abs.
If you can afford food then you shouldnt be buying juice period
LOL...r u serious??!! Then what should I be eating when I am running gear...ramen noodles and slim jims???...LMAO!!!
I bet most people on here get there fats from other places beside egg yolks and fish. I bet a lot get it from olive oil and fish oil and I'm willing to be that quite a few respected people on this forum are eating hellmanns but maybe won't admit it.
