Anyone get sore on cycle?

ad

Does anyone get sore on cycle? This cycle (prop 150 eod mast 100 eod) ive noticed I will still be a little sore the next day and in the case or legs 2 days after sometimes. My gear is legit and everything, I've been making great size and strength gains, It's just past cycles I almost never get sore. Does anyone else get like this?
Might just be because I kill it on chest days and leg day are leg days.
I'll throw in a lot of supersets, drop sets, and burnouts at the end.

when i do legs, just about every workout i wanna puke, couple times i have.not to mention trying to sit down and pretty much falling into the couch.i embrace the pain if it hurts i know for sure i beat them up,even on gear i manage to stay sore at least for a day or 2.

Are you talking about what you trained the day before for example chest. You should always be sore the next day after working a muscle hard. At the very least tight. This means you ripped it and it is now in the process of repairing itself. Hence this is how you grow. Maybe you don't get sore when you are not on a cycle because you are just going through the motions without really pushing yourself. You should always push your self to failure to grow.

I couldnt agree with you more, this is part of my downfall a couple months back so I started researching proper lifting techniques and different work out programs

My cycle is a little bit the same.small amounts.Little is sometimes better !!!you gain 2-3kg but are lean and you can keep them after the cycle. me i take 80mg of prop.test.{2 doses} 150mg of boldenone 3 doses.i do a lot of drop sets ,super sets i dont appriciate so much!!!

Yup! Lactic acid. Best way I've found is the hottub and stretching. Hottub keeps postworkout blood flowing....get that acid out. Stretching squeezes out that buildup as well.

I figured it was lactic acid because I do lots of supeset and drop sets and burnouts

I always do some kind or stretching pwo, that does help. Even if I am rushed and have only five minutes...better than NO stretching.

absolutely, sore after every workout no matter how much gear im on. feel like if i dont get sore, didnt train the muscle hard enough.

Dam most of u guys dnt get sore on cycle? Im not on gear so that why im like wtf! Lol.... I get sore every fucking workout!:/

Yeah...honestly. Off-cycle or days pre-AAS...I only ever got sore on the week(s) after switching routines...definitely sore the first week after a switch...and somewhat the second week, but then it goes away completely. I usually switch routines every 4 weeks, sometimes drastic..sometimes something simple as switching exercises, a flip-flop of things if you will.

ac89's picture

I also switch it up every week and past cycles I didn't so thats another contributing factor

Mmmmm??? Sometimes I get a little sore in the pecs on real high sets/reps days..But not on heavy days..Weird..Legs? That's a whole different beast right there..For some reason on my legs I always go max heavy with em..Yeah it makes getting around kinda tough for sometimes up to four days..Other time's just a day or two. But its about the same for me weather I am "cruising" or "blasting"..I guess we are all different ya know?

ac89's picture

Yeah everyone is different. I'm feeling doms in my quads right now. I've been trying to build up the lower area and the tear drop so I will hit leg press, leg extension, squats. or leg extensions leg press squats. It makes me sore as hell, and doing squats on pre exhausted quads gives some insane pumps in the legs

Drop sets make me hella sore bro

Sometimes I do...sometimes I don't. I always push myself and work out pretty hard...and when I do get sore, it's after chest or legs. I've noticed that it's mostly right after I switch routines which makes sense..we all know that is SUPPOSED to happen(right?)...and even on-cycle it happens.
I know AAS is great at speeding up recovery, but overtraining on gear can still happen. I know a couple dudes notorious with thinking that they have to train 2-a-days when running their cycles...and to be honest, their build(s) don't ever change. I am a bigger believer in TRAIN HARD AND FAST, and get plenty of rest.

ac89's picture

you and me both on train hard and fast. It's chest and legs for me too. Nothing else gets sore

Shit, everything gets sore for me, even Lats. All about working the muscle imo. You throw around weight your back won't grow. You emphasizing pulling it properly, that makes a world of difference.

DBG's picture

That shit pisses me off...I see dumbasses in the gym all the time throwing around and heaving weight they can't handle. I just chuckle to myself and smirk. You're absolutely right with emphasizing pulling. Gotta get the correct kind of stimulus to the muscles. Squeeze that shit...make every rep count, and especially those last ones in a set...I think those are the reps that really matter; forcing that muscle to GROW!!

juice 2's picture

Fuck yea I get sore.

ac89's picture

Glad I'm not the only one. Also this go around I'm really making every rep count squeezing the muscle, I've also never made size gains on my chest like I am not so that might be the culprit
