gaining weight giving me headaches, wheres the damn protein

So I am re-dialing in my diet to incorporate more protein but am in need of ideas

So far my diet today has been

Breakfast - 614 cals - 46g carb - 63g Prot
Snack - 480 cals - 56g carb - 21g Prot
Lunch (not eaten yet) - 1160 cals - 106g carb - 74g Prot

This totals 2254 cals, 208g carbs, 152g Prot

Now I had 1 Prot shake with breakfast and dont like drinking more than two a day
Breakfast was 2 eggs, 2 slices of bread, cheese, ham, Prot shake
Snack was granola and tuna fish with crackers
Lunch is pb & j sandwiches(2), 4 chicken strips(.6lbs), and carrots. I can add in some nuts but have no more food here at work.

My question is ill be around 153-175 by time I goto the gym, how the hell am I suppose to get 150-250g more of protein? Lol

Im trying to get my diet right for my next cycle, I am at 180 @ 6'1

you need alot more like these guys said.eat 6xday be really look at what your eating sometime you can eat less then you think and still get what you need.i supplement my meals if im really bloated with a peanut butter sandwich 6tbsp of peanut butter,plus i use a double protein wheat bread,so between the peanut butter 21g of protein,plus the 14g from the bread,wash it down with a cup of milk and a scoop of whey.total cals.1050 76g protein 54g of carbs and thats not much to eat to get that.just an idea for ya to really up your cal intake plus your protein intake w/o feeling like your gonna explode

More chicken. Eat 6 times a day not three. Eat smaller meals more frequently .Its key.

Wow bro 180 at 6'1. If you think eating when your full is hard then you dont know what hard is. you need to eat more calories then you burn to gain weight. 40% carbs 40% protein 20% fats at 3600-4500 calories(body weight x 20-25).Track your weight month to month and adjust your calories as needed and stay committed.
Make sure you are training and resting to build muscle.

Id add a lot more.eggs at breakfast. I eat 8 eggs, with only 2 yolks.About 7grams protein each egg. I mean my 8 year old eats 3eggs for breakfast

Gotta eat mate. Increasing your appetite can be a slow process, but at 180lbs at your height, you need calories, even if some of it is shitty calories here and there. I'm eating every 2 hours at present, getting 450g of protein per day and 5000 calories.

Other ideas for protein - Milk, cottage cheese, cashew nuts, red meat (even if I'm not hungry I find I can ALWAYS eat a steak!). Get the whey shakes going too, especially if you're struggling to get the food down you. Can make a nice oats / whey / yoghurt / Pnut butter / milk smoothie that heavy on calories and protein.

Keep munching bro. FOOD IS KEY!

I went from 142 to 167 lbs in three months all natural. Boneless skinless chicken tits are ur best friend. On a budget, buy the cheapest weight gainer u can get with the lowest fat cals. Its way cheap and it will bump ur caloric intake to where it should be for ur size.

Every two hours i'm chomping down chicken tenderlings and a scoop whey in water. 6meals a day minimum. Tilapia or chicken in each. Better get into living whey drinks! Im downimg over 400grams proteins daily just by chicken, fish, whey.

if you're trying to gain weight from 6'1 180lbs you may want to drastically increase your calories. it's not all about protein as much as it is about excess calories. YES your definitely need to check the box and hit enough protein, but if you're eating much more overall it will make that much easier. if i were you i'd start a serious bulk including lots of calorically dense foods and get to 5k calories per day...just eat til it hurts. do heavy compound lifts (squats, deadlifts, bench, military press) for 3x5 or 5x5. this is what worked for me, you'll be able to gain 25 pounds naturally doing this. it won't all be perfect quality weight but this is how you bulk from a light weight. once you gain 25 pounds and feel better about your size you can get strict on diet and cut that shit up.

Im on somewhat of a budget, and I get 75-100g protein from shakes. I guess I could eat more than 6 meals but im sitting here waiting to eat am apple im so full lol

given your stats and your desire to gain weight, my advice is to focus much more on your total calories than on protein. i'm saying you should consider DOUBLING your caloric intake. 4 years ago I weighed 150 lbs. The only way i gained big was to eat until it hurt all day every day while doing a 3x5 or 5x5 heavy weight training program. it's up to you but if you want to get bigger you need to eat much much bigger. Eat everything in sight until it hurts...
