Hey so I thought Id post this for everyone young like me 19-25.
The reason I am posting this is because it seems everytime we post on here we get hit with the too young or the no experience or not training long enough or w.e it is.
First I will speak for myself, I am 22 years old I have been training since I was 14 years old. I never touched a thing until 18 and the only reason I did was because it kept being pushed on me and I gave in.. and unfortunately it was a dumb choice. I didnt know better and I took d bol for 12 weeks. after this I never touched roids again until about 3 months ago. I am cetified trainer as well as in college for fitness and training. I know my shit and if you knew me you would know I am a freak when it comes to working out, my parents my friends will tell you I am obsessed but I am just vey very dedicated. people were making me take days off I hated taking one day off. I give my heart to this and I want to be a fitness model in the future and I will do it with every shed of blood tears and sweat I have.
So when you wanna talk about me taking the easy way out, who the fuck are you to judge me we are on a steroid forum!!? Some even most just take steroids to be big to be strong to w.e I do it because its my dreams and passion to be on top some day.
So when I ask a question, please give me the answer dont speak to me about some shit that has nothing to do with my question.
To all you young guys, we all have our reasons for being there and like me I hope they are good ones.
I may get negged fo this or given a speech but honestly thats okay I am speaking my mind and I think even tho we are the babies of the forum we dont deserve to be treated like em..
no before I sound like a total asshole I also want to say some of you have given me great responses and I appreciate you all for that this place has truly helped me in so many ways. especially FAST48 he is an amazing aid
Also listen us young guys understand you care and know whats up bette than us but if we are on this forum and already have gear and already made our minds then you dont need to tell us we are ready to roll, so just give us the answers we desperately need because only YOU have the answers we need.!

mattyjay25thanks for the advice, made me really think. I may not always agree with my dad but hes right 99.9% time because hes been there done that, and I had to realize this is the same you all been there done that.
While I am not as versed in aas as many of the people here, I do what I can and will help all I can. If there is anything I can answer let me know. If I dont know the answer I will tell you that as well, but I wont steer you wrong.

Classic special snowflake behavior. I want to be big, but don't want to earn it. Those guys are being mean to me, run away. Not all 20 something's are this lame, but the self entitlement of this new generation is pretty evident overall. In this game we play there are no shortcuts. Hard work is the only way. I think that is why we love it so much! Patience and hard work are the only way to succeed. That is why when you look at the bodies of 99% of the world you see pathetic out of shape, diabetic, heart attacks waiting to happen. Then the media deamonizes steroid. Even before I took a thing I would hear the under the breath comments about how I was on gear, just because I was not a fat slob. I think Matty is gone for good!

This is the 3rd most popular (by replies) thread in General Talk! I just want to say that the knowledge of the veterans on this board is invaluable. I have always appreciated the helpful words from members, especially Viking, tread, zewi, fast and others.
theprogressiveoneI'm also young, but I disagree that the "older guys care and know whats up better than us". Most of them here are new to the game, and don't have much knowledge at all.With the exception of some of the mods, and gurus. I'd rather look good in my twenties, then wait until I'm 35 when it doesn't matter as much.

CleyonI[m replying directly to your post instead of getting involved in the fray below because I want to get back to what you initially posted. I am one of the old guys that is new to the game. I'm also an old guy that does care, not just about you, but about people in general.
I have a brother, several of them actually, but one in particular. He was an outstanding athlete all his life. Every sport he played, he dominated it. Track? Oh yeah, he was dominant in High School, set several pole vaulting records in our district and state. Football? Well this is where he really shined. All state quarterback, went to Alabama, and had a promising career ahead of him. He also liked motorcycles, so much so that he road all the time. What he didn't like were helmets. He is now a qualdraplegic.
You would probably take it to heart if he told you not to ride without a helmet right? But for some reason it doesn't mean as much coming from me. You see there are a lot of studies about the survivability is for those who are in a motorcycle accident without a helmet vs those with a helmet. However people still ride all the time with craniums completely exposed. Not very smart, but that's life.
We cannot stop you from doing something stupid to your body, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't discourage you. Should the experienced people on here really give you advice knowing that you following that advice could harm you?
You say it doesn't matter as much when you are older, and I have to tell you that I completely disagree with that. You know how I know I'm right? Because I've been the age you are, and am the age I am. We'll have to rely on Viking to tell us whether it's more important once you're 50, because I don't know about that yet, but whatever he says I will listen.
If i can speak for both of us its more important now than ever,and we prove there is no need for excuses,people stare at us then when they feel confident enough they may ask our ages,on answering their question they are then blown away and cannot believe we can both be in this condition when we are supossed to be old and burnt out,wrong attitude whilst young will lead to a wrong attitude when older in my opinion,we cannot go anywhere without people looking us and that in itself is what all the younger ones
want right now.

CleyonI actually assumed that was the case. I didn't need AAS when I was in my twenties to look good, feel good, and stay fit. Finding TRT was a BLESSING in my life, that is why I can't imagine a young man purposely putting himself into that situation pre-maturely.
If he doesn't listen to you and Viking (I assume you can speak for both of you), then there are rocks rumbling around where his grey matter should be.
I think it all boils down to patience i have been training now for 30+ yrs because its my job,only the last 3yrs have been hardcore bodybuilding principles but by having a good fitness base the recomp came pretty fast and easy,a lot of the younger ones have no base at all and most importantly no nutritional knowledge whatsoever,they hit the steroids and wonder why nothing happens which leads to them taking higher then higher dosages still with very little quality gain and a truck load of problems follows then they need someone to blame,but never blame themselves.
CleyonYou know Suzy, when I was in my 20s I could be horrible to my body and as soon as I noticed a little belly I'd get back in the gym. Three months later I'd be rocking a six pack, and thinking I was the boss again. So imagine my suprise three years ago when I wasn't able to snap back like that!
AAS is just my way of getting back what I had at 20, but without my diet and dedication in the gym it wouldn't do nearly enough.

cheers my man, very lucky he didnt loose his life.. member of a bike forum i frequent had 2 helmets, a cheap fibreglass one for everyday riding and a $1100 arai helmet for special occasions, he came off went into a fence and sliced his helmet in half, whether it would of happened with the exxy one who knows, but just not worth the risk. good to see tho u havent been scared off from letting ur kids ride mate.
In your twenties you should have no problem looking good with out any AAS. Unless your to immature to eat correctly,workout out right, and get a good night sleep every night and if that's the case you shouldn't be on AAS anyway.
How can you disagree with who cares and who don't? "MOST" is a very broad statement about people you really know nothing about. The MOST that you are talking about are the guys that did it wrong early in life or are the guys that did it right and waited or learned from mistakes. They are all here to learn or give information about what they know. I don't know your age because you didn't post your stats in your profile page. Which should be a requirement. So I don't know your expierence. But to throw your future away in your 20's and not care about your 30's and 40's. The 'MOST" people you are referring to are the guys that help these people through their problems. WHY? because they care.
