hypothyroidism
ad
Found out from the doc a few weeks back that I have hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) they put me on 88mcg t4. I find this kinda strange because I'm such a lean person (always have been) & my thyroid is underactive???wtf? Oh well I guess it is what it is.
Anyways I'm having a very hard time finding information concerning hypothyroidism & cycling juice , does any1 have any info on the matter or know where to look? ( I didn't mention it to the doc). Well, I'll keep digging & reading, I need to be better informed b4 my next cycle.

I know this is an old thread but I hope you get this anyway currently taking 112mcg of t4 and at the 5th week of test-e 500mg cycle had bloods done as per usual dr visit and levels were off and dr upped meds to 137mcg this will undoubtably change after cycle but everyone is different can't say if you would be the same or not best of luck to you
AnonI m on 180mg of t4.. with no problems cycling at all. You won't find information pertaining to those of us who take t4 to maintain optimal thyroid functioning but you should notice that your gear works better.
Thx for the info grrrl. I really can't tell much difference so far but I haven't been back to the doc to be reevaluated yet. You're on 180mg of t4? That's alot isn't it? Or is my dose 88mcg just really small? From what little I have been able to find out it looks like running ( for a couple weeks at a time) some t3 during cycle may benefit me - do u know this to be the case?
Thx again & take care.

AnonI am on what is considered a fairly large dose. I would not supplement or take extra, t3 is what t4 turns into so you shouldn't need it. if you are using the t3 to supplement hgh while on cycle it turns out that it is the conversion of t4 into t3 that is necessary for the hgh to work properly. So t3 is unnecessary and could throw off what you have already been prescribed based on your labs. Thyroid really isn't anything to fuck around with, to much messing with it will land you into a shit storm of issues and possibly a dirt nap.
Agreed, especially depending on how long your thyroid has been under performing to, you might even have to reevaluate how each compound effects you again, your thyroid controls so many functions that once you get it balanced out it can change how your body responds to different compounds, even over the counter type. Glad you found out and hope your health improves because of it!
Anonthat is an excellent point you made that being in balance does make a huge difference. thanks.
