Renegotiating diet schedule
okay, so I'm making some changes in diet scheduling. I am an early a.m. lifter so my usual routine is protein shake before and meal after... But now that I'm fully kicked it doesn't "feel" optimal because I'm "feeling" like my gains are leveling and I need a heavier carb kick. This is what I've been doing...
PWO shake:
1 cup water
1/2 cup cranberry juice (the REAL shit)
5 tblspns WPI
1 tblspn powdered beet
1 tblspn powdered spinach
2 tblspns honey
PO/WO meal
5oz tuna
6oz shredded carrots
3oz shredded cheese
1/2 avacado
2 tblspns olive oil
1 tblspn balsamic vinagar
It was working great but now feel like I need a lil more... I tried adding a 1/2 cup of oatmeal to the shake but that made me feel a lil sluggish (only about 1/2 hr between shake and gym)
So now I'm doing:
PWO MEAL
1/2 cup whole wheat pasta
4 boiled eggs
1 tblspn olive oil
PO/WO shake
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cranberry juice (the REAL shit)
5tbspns WPI
1 scoop cassien
1 tblspn powdered beet
1 tblspn powdered spinach
2 tblspn honey
...and moved the tuna to meal#3
anyone else manipulating their diet mid-cycle?
