+ 1 Stage 3 hamstring tear
ad
Hey guys. Just wanted to throw a quick question out there. I was diagnosed with a stage 3 hamstring tear. My lower body workouts will be none existent for the next few weeks I would imagine. I currently have 6 weeks of my Tren ace test prop cycle left so I'll predominantly have to focus on my upper body. Have any of you ever ran into a problem like this mid cycle? What do you think is going to be my best approach at salvaging the remainder of this cycle? Thanks guys

I know this is an old post - But its me pal Uncle so I figured F it!! Lol
So was it completely off the bone at the tendon then with it being a stage 3? I'm amazed you could even train mate - I did a 1.5 to 2 earlier this year that just came from nowhere during deadlifts mainly due to using shitty form and not being recuperated enough. Seemed to go about halfway across the muscle belly in the centre. At first I was of course gutted as it popped underneath me, but I figured oh well 2 months of benching, it isn't the end of the world. However I was wrong - made heavy benching involving leg drive and back constriction impossible for the first 3 weeks and as a result lost a tonne of strength. It took about 8 weeks to get it right again, how long did yours take? Were you on crutches?
TxBigBoyI'd finish out your cycle. I had an ingrown toenail that got infected and sidelined me from basically walking let alone any cardio or leg workouts for about 3 weeks. Just gives your more time to focus on your upper body and next cycle you can come back and catch up your legs. But for sure rest that leg brother, give it as much time as it needs to recover.
Thanks man. I'm gonna gave to tweak things a bit cause I generally hit arms, shoulders etc once a week. Since I'll have to cut out all lower body and likely most of my back workouts, I'll need to do something those other days. This cycle has been frustrating.
dreak666make your upper body humongous lol
Lol that's the plan. I'm honestly one of those assholes that's blessed with big calves and quads. Doesn't take much work at all to blow them up. Won't hurt them to take a break. Could always use bigger triceps though.
No1I would imagine those triceps will grow alot better since your body isnt going to have to repair those big leg muscles
I guess I could just sit down and do skull crushers all day long lol
