I have had both knees done 3 times each. Usually have it done on a Thursday rest up in bed or ez chair on friday up and about on Sat back to work on Monday. Recovery for me is about 6 weeks. Easy peasy! Squats (light) in about 4 weeks extentions at about 8 or so just take it easy not a bad deal at all. Ice and tylenol is all I ever used for the pain. Ice is your friend and if you do PT I LOVE the electric stim...really makes it feel good. Although I am about our of miniscus in both knees.

well let me tell you ive had 3 knee surgerys,,meniscus,acl, mcl,both knees sports injurys , not any short cuts,,meniscus will heal and rehab faster that the acl but again thats relative to the extent of the injury,,best thing is Good doctor. second is good rehab, my last one was 4 years ago and i can honestly say i dont even have a twinge of pain in um now,,not any,,so you will be fine im pretty sure gotta do that rehab man and work that knee thru the pain,,i had a mad german female trainer and that was truly a sight to see her chasing me around..let me know how its goin man

Suprised no answers yet. Friends that tore theirs had a good 6mo recovery with proper therapy. Ortho surgery nowadays is quick procedure. Depends upon severity of tear to figure recovery time. Hope you heal fast!
