Assuming you're in the US, they should have left you an orange slip with the info on it. Just take that to the PO and hand it to them. It's 99.9% likely they won't even ask for an ID as long as you present them the slip. If they do ask for ID, tell them you forgot it. They don't want that package there any longer than it has to be because it's taking up space and the longer it sits there, the less likely it will be delivered without damage. You should be fine. damn that sucks. thats why i always just go ahead and use my real name, scared of loosing hundreds of dollars in a situation like this. you can try just taking them the card they left and hope they dont ask for ID but thats a slim chance, EVRYTIME ive had to pick up something they asked me for ID (im in the U.S.). like Benny said they dont ask for ID at your door so I dont understand why you cant just prove you live at the address. at least try, cant hurt. i asssume they dont hold packs forever and would sooner or later return the pack to sender also, i could be wrong there though. just for the record, even if a pack doesnt have your name on it, if it comes to your crib AND you sign and except it that shit is yours as far as the cops are concerned. no getting out of that. its different if something is just left in your box or on your doorstep, you cant control what the mailman leaves, but if you actually sign for a pack, even without your name on it,then thats your shit and you aint talking your way out of it. so you may as well use your name if you have to sign anyway.

Bro just tell them there was a mistake on the name, or somethin... Ask if u can bring some bills, hydro, cable, ID drivers license that show your address and prove u live there... They dont check ID when they deliver, they just take a signature so if u can prove u live there they should let u have it... Im in UK and have missed packages and it says on the card come to the post office WITH ID, and they never even asked to see it etc... Good luck bro, and if that fails try having a temper tantrum and throwing yourself on the floor and wail around your arms and legs make a lot of noise lmao, from now on use your real name dude in case u miss them knock etc...

Get a generic fake ID ....should be able to get it by the tools at the PO , if not just walk out.
