HGH and Type II diabetes (a quiz for TREAD and other HGH gurus)
Ive been thinking about this latley. If someone has type II DM and takes glucophage and was going to run HGH it seems they would just stick with their daily dose of oral meds and start out their hgh dose low and work up to their goal right? This is something I don't think I have seen much of in this forum. Since hgh has the tendancies to raise blood sugar would this be ok if they stuck with their regimen or would this complicate their diabetes more? To me it seems if you were to run all of your tests like your igf1 and thyroid in the begining and stay on top of these through out cycle while keeping up with testing blood sugar as well everything would be g2g. If the thyroid gets out of range you can start a dose and adjust it accordingly if needed. Sorry, I used to work in an endo clinic and I think of these things constanly.

tread-mOk looking forward to Ab's response from the gf and in the meantime let me give you my initial thoughts on it and then I will expand on those will actual science as I went and spent some extensive time reading on the subject prompted byy your question. My initial thoughts were that I knew type 2 is very different than 1 in that you still have good insulin output with 2, your body is just unable to use it. Much more often than not that is due to too many fat cells literally blocking the bodies ability to use the insulin properly for a long period of time.
My thoughts seemed simple in that I know hgh actually creates new cells and it also helps brintg the body back in time to some degree as a result of that process. So I though if it does this and burns fat as a result of doing all that it does for metabolic rate it would be great for type 2. Just my thoughts there not science....
So know I took my suspicion and went to run through some studies if any were available and in fact there were many. Research showed initially that it was not only not beneficial but that it could actually make type 2 worse and might even cause type 2. Then at a later time researchers began realizing that all the studies with those claims had been done with abuse of hgh and not use at what is considered normal doses. Since that time many researchers went back to the drawing board. As a result of that many studies have been done specific to type 2 and hgh and even type 2 and igf-1. In both cases wihen studies are done they do something similar to my initial thoughts. Both drugs used in proper "therapy" style dosing increase the bodies ability to use the insulin that is being produced by the pancreas by as much as 50% and part of that is a direct effect of the fat reduction hgh or igf-1 caused. Aside of fat reduction the metabolism itself created an environment of efficiency helping in that way to.
Conclusion....hgh used in proper doses at therapy levels and not taken to abuse levels seemed to benefit patients and test subject by the above and actually reduced insulin depenancy substantially in some cases.
On a side note for anyone reading this because you are type 2. Type 2 diabetes is sokething that can he improved by proper lifestyle and diet and in some cases cured to the degree that you can reverse it. This is much more common in the early diagnosed when it has not gone too far. A good example is someone close to me who recently had a lap band and was tyoe 2 and reversed type 2 and very high blood pressure almost literally over night,,, few months. This would be good indication that diet is so important to this and many other issues related to obesity.
Awsome question, hope others with some experience first hand chime in and again, look forward to hearing back from Abnormal.....google this topic and dig a while, there is actually a lot of information on it, some had to be dug out a little deeper than the original hit but its there if you need a more technical articulation of it.
I have read the studies you are talking about. I bought this book growing you with hgh (a little outdated) but it has tons of awesome studies in it and has all the details of who ran them and why and if they did or did not have an agenda. Many of the old studies were done like you said in extremely high doses. I think you hit it spot on and this was along the lines of what I was thinking too. If all the proper tests are done and monitored closely and of course used along side a health lifestyle I think IGF-1 or HGH could benefit DM. Im going to see if I can get ahold of some of the people I used to work with and see what their thoughts are. Until then I would also like to hear back from Abnormal! ABBY GET YO ASS BACK HERE THE STREET LIGHTS DONE CAME ON!
AnonMy GF works with Endo, I'll see what the Doc says and chime back next week. This is some serious shit not to play games with.
Agreed. I know theres gotta be some diabetics here on eroids and this is something I dont think I have really seen since Ive been here. Thanks man!
