Hands going numb
I have been cruising with lixus prop and I am very happy with the oil, but i have noticed the past couple of weeks my hands have been going numb in my sleep. Now back in 2005 when i was 1st diagnosed with TD I was prescribed a testosterone patch (i dnt remember the name of it) but had a side affect of my arms going completely numb while I was sleeping, now when I say numb I dnt mean the sensation of pis tingling on them, I mean haveing absolutly no use in my arms to where I had to get up and get the blood circulatin in them to actually be able to use them numb, the dr. that prescribed the patch to me had never heard of any side affect from this patch that caused numbness, however he represcribed me androgel in which the numbness no longer persisted once I started using the gel. I have run prop from other labs and have not had this affect but and I even thought maybe it was how I was sleeping, but the past couple of nights ive noticed I had been sleeping flat on my back and have even used my pillows to elavate me and still no difference, arms still going numb. Its so bad that I cant wake them up while im sitting in bed, I have actually have to get up and move around to get the tingling out. Rite now its about 45 monutes after ive got up and i can still feel my hands tingling while im typing this. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Is there anything I can take to help my blood flow because I can see this being a problem to where i might lose sleep over and i have a full time job, not to mention a house full of kids and a 2 month old baby. I need my sleep lol. Any advice??

hope this helps
last but bot least stretch out 2 a day your legs back and hands bend your fingers back to your wrist for a 30 second count abd keep switching hands
truckdrivers get alot of pinched nerves from sittin wth bad posture all day will cut circulation to
typing causes carpral; tunnel 2 keep your wrist raised everything requires good form
also try to get in some cardio to force the blodd where in needs to go
Im goin thru the same thing if you work in like assembly factory or maybe your lifting too heavy my advice would be get some deca joint lubing shit, buy some straps for lifting weights and decrease weight you might be aquiring a case of carpral tunnel get some wrist supports like the old people wear them all day.... keep in touch im sweating tooooooo lol hope this helps
kanibal
I get this too all the time especially after back workouts. It's muscle tension/spasming in response to the workout and roids causing the nerves to my arms to get pinched.
Lots of stretching before bed, water, potassium, and a quality/fresh mattress might help.
im sure alot of this comes from gripping the bar real tight when were lifting. I have noticed some uncomfortablness after lifting real heavy. Im going to be getting me some new gloves. when curling I can real alot of discomfort in my wrist after I set the weights back down, I am curling 145 lbs at the curling station and i seen to have notice it when I hit over 115 lbs
I have this same thing happening. If I even have my hands elevated too long, they start to get tingly. At first I was freaked out it might be related to blood pressure, but my blood pressure seems fine (a little high but nothing to worry about).
I've read on other threads where guys on cycles have this happen and it goes away after their cycle is over. It's driving me insane, though!
yeah mine too, I usually keep my laptop on a desk and if I use it while its on the desk my hand will start tingling as well, I can see KMC coming in here with some smart ass comments like "toughen up bitches" or something like that lol. Anyways, if you discover anything that might help it then do let us know
Will do. Only thing I've seen so far is its probably related to all the new weight we're putting on our nerves...but that really wouldn't explain why people stop having it after a cycle.
damn it, its my only day off of work this week and i woke up at 3:30am, 5:00am, 6:00am, 7:00am, and finally got up at 8:ooam due to my fucking hands going numb, now im not doubting that I have carpal tunnel because I was told when I was 21 that I had carpal tunnel from my job then, How ever I have not noticed the painful symtoms that goes along with carpal tunnel until resently, even though when I was using the test patch back in 05 when my entire arm would go lifeless at night I never felt the unique pain it causes when trying to open and close your hand. Now that I have been on this new job for a couple of months which requires me to use scissors (dont worry i wear my helmet when using them lol) I feel it starting to come back but I definatly feel that the gear im using has alot to do with it as well. Its kind of hard to explain but I feel the testosterone is triggering it because I feel it all the wat up my arm, now its just my hands that goes numb but my whole arm aches. I guess ill just have to suck it up and do another shot
I slept on my arm after a hard day.. I wasn't even out throwing down just had a long day and really beat...so...
I wake up and feel this hand in the bed...I reach over and my wife is not in the bed w/ me.
I was thinking wtf..!!
I literally tried to throw the hand out of the bed in my half dazed state and it was attached to MY ARM'
I do get numb arms when I sleep sometimes too.. last night even.
its a weird fucking feeling isnt it lol, the 1st time it ever happened to me it startled me, it didnt even feel like my arm. it felt like a lifeless limb just lying beside me in the bed. Im not a hundred % for sure but I think the fish oil pills helped it. Seems to regulate my blood pressure pretty decently. I missed a day of using it last week and I seemed to notice the numbness more.
yeah that happens to me but only when im on cycle cant figure out the reason but it wakes me up to the point where i gotta move around to get blood circulating
you should try to keep your upper body elavated, it seems to be helping me out some, I had my hands go numb last night but it doesnt happen all the time. see if that helps
yeah this used to happen to me as well. A guy told me it could be from having to much sugar in my diet. eating before bed makes it worse
I feel your pain Bro I have the same problem.. It is true what Abnormal wrote it feels exactly like the symptoms u feel with Carpel tunnel syndrome. Years ago with working with my hands everyday i had been diagnosed with (CTS) It was a minor case and after changing jobs the numbness went away. But now when i am on a cycle i always get the numbness in my hands just like the symptoms from CTS. Only at night hands will wake me up and i cant get back to sleep cus it is annoying as hell. But the braces that i bought from CVS for CTS makes it go away as soon as you put them on your hands you will be good to go. The brace position your hands so that the blood flow is normal definitely worth the 20 bucks.
AnonIts ebola, I give you less than 24 hours... So sorry.
The first time that shit happened to me I was on cycle, I just never thought it was because of steroids. I thought I was just sleeping on my arm every night, some nights it would be so bad I wouldn't even be able to get up out of bed because I couldn't move the little fuckers.
dirtpipeIm getting similar sympyoms, though, lying on the sofa and even driving today, i got numb fingers,m i put it down to growing on cycle, i already take adex e3d ..
tread-mWell let me throw some speculation into the mix here. Now keep in mind, more than one thing can be at play such as carrying more water resticting blood flow do to the tightness on arteries carrying blood to the extremeties which is also one of the reasons bp rises while on cycle. Now while that and a couple other monir things will likely be at play I tend to lean to this as being maybe the catalyst for all the possibilities to come together; the primary job of the brainghpg axis is to blance test and growth hormone. An overage in one will stimulate the other to pruduce in order to try and make the highest possible bal?ance in he 2 hormones. These signs you describe are quite common while using hgh, especially early in its use ande especially if ramping up too fast in iu usage. So having said that, particularly at your age, your test use is increasing your growth hormone pulse at the natural level which could give you signs that one would have while using hgh. This actually a positive thing as long as thats what it is. If it is in conjunction with carrying a little or a lot more water while on gear, you could try drinking a lot more water as Greg said the other day causing the body to recognize "plenty" and allowing yourself to dump more water througbh the day. Even if it is 2 or 3 different things at play eliminating one of them, if it were the straw that made the differenc on the camels back, might actually stop he entire problem. Igf-1 levels will increase out of necessity while using testosterone and this means more growth hormone is present when compared to off cycle. Hats my best guess but if the water does not help after a week I would absolutely consider a talk with the doc. Either that or you had a stroke, awwwww...he is so young. Lol
thanks homie, I hate to think I had a stroke though, but I can definately feel my blood pressure up. I am usually pretty good about drinking gatoraid, It doesnt seem to be an everynight thing, but it does happen frequently lately. for some reason I just had it in my head that it had something to do with my muscles tightening up and putting more pressure on my arterys. I appreciate the insight playa
tread-mYeah and thats one of those other factors right there...muscles bigger and tighter, water, more igf-1 production, bp up...just a lot of things at play there so I think even though not "normal" it is normal under the circumstances if that makes you feel any better. The bp portion of that alone is probably the only red flag, I'd just stay on that cardio brother and keep yourself healthy so we can do a serious Ho run on the Washington trip this summer!
And thats what Im training for, I dnt care if im dead you better dig my ass up, get me fixed up and just tell the ladies im playin possum lol
AnonFor PB I forgot to add: make sure your hands are open at night while you sleep. You can get some Carpel Tunnel Syndrome(CTS)braces at any CVS, Walgreens etc.
i have been getting same shit but in my legs.it sucks waking up having too piss but cant walk:)
AnonOpen a forum on that one. I'd like to know if anyone else has the same thing or you may need to seek more information, maybe professional.
AnonI know that one well from years of my work. I notice is gets worse running a cycle and weight gain. Keep your water down. Some Adex: .5 mgs Mon, Wed, Fri may help. I started Adex on my first pin this time and no numbness :-).
ahh im taking adex this time maybe thats why it hasnt happened to me anyway
wow i know exactly what your talking about it actually freaked me out the first time my arm was a dead limb i jumped out of bed holding my dead arm with the good one and leaning down n shaking it to get the blood in my arm it took a good minuet till i started to feel that weird sensation finally followed by that intense tingling and 3 mins later its all good SCARY now this ONLY happens to me when im on a cycle and although its happened many times not an every night thing to where im losing sleep, very interesting post i never equated it to one particular substance i.e test i just figured i was bigger and was sleeping on it wrong and cutting of the circulation lmao thats my ego!! anyway im on lixus sus 600mg bi weekly n lixus deca 600mg bi weekly and im on the last day of the fifth week today and it hasnt happened to me once yet (THANK GOD) I know the sus has 100mg of prop in it,if that helps u any. I hope someone with more knowledge can shed some light on this!! Good luck i totally understand what your going thru it sucks if it happens once a week but every night forget it!
a dead limb, thats the evact way i can describe how numg the patch made my arm. Its kinda freakish, its like carring an arm that isnt yours. like I told tread its not like it an every night thing but when it does happen it tends to keep me awake
