+ 1 Feel free to critique my cycle

I decided to make this thread because my other thread in another forum was getting off tangent. This is more about what I could tweak about this cycle.

Background:
Previous cycles have been the typical 12 weekrs (test, tren, anavar, etc (I don't want to list each cycle but I'm sure it is pretty typical test never over 750 tren never been over 400 etc. nothing really crazy)
Been cycling on and off for a bout 7 years. I just never really was able to maintain and be consistent with the gains because life kept getting in the way (kid, divorce, bankruptcy, lay off etc lol) But for the past year and half I have been fully committed to this lifestyle and did my first show in October. (Placed 2nd ) Next show is end of May next year.

Show is 18 weeks away FYI

Current Cycle:
Test E 750mg/wk 1-10
EQ 300mg/wk 1-10
Deca 300 mg/wk 1-10
Anadrol 50mg ED 1-6 (as per advice from other members on my other thread)
4 IU HGH ED split between am/pm until last 10 days before the show

Anything here you would add...extend..take out etc?

Prep cycle
Sust. 500 mg/wk 11-18
Mast Prop 300 mg/wk 11-18
Tren Ace 300mg/wk 11-18
Winny 50 mg ED weeks 12-18 ----> Or maybe Anavar at 75 mg ED?
Clen 60mcg 2 days on 1 day off
Halo 40mg ED weeks 14-18
4 IUs HGH split between am/pm up until 10 days out

Anything here you would add...extend..take out etc?

I am open to any and all advice. This will be my second show (placed second in my first NPC show) Also leave the negative comments aside. I am here to gain knowledge from those guys that have more experience than me. I would rather see what others guys have to say from experience. Thanks in advance for the advice guys!!

I hope this isn’t construed as negative but here is my best advice;

Listen to what your coach tells you, and don’t sway from that, or ask others’ opinions as that will only make you 2nd guess you/your coaches plan. If you 2nd guess, or worse, deviate from the plan then what’s the point of hiring a coach in the 1st place...as you improve more and more people will begin giving you unsolicited advice, Run. Though the intentions are good it’ll f up your head.

The cycle looks fine on paper. The gear is just one piece of the pie. When we put so much focus on that little piece of the pie we tend to miss the other pieces (not saying that is the case for you—obviously this is a steroid website so I u/s why your focus is on the drugs). What body parts do you want to improve? How is that going to happen? How intense are you training and is there room to increase your intensity? How’s your diet? Is there room for more food off-season or more meals pre-contest? How’s your sleep? How’s your body taking the Foods your coach has you on? These are the questions I’d be asking if I were to ask, not how can I construct the perfect cycle to yield xyz. It doesn’t work that way. I sure as hell wish it did. Then I could say screw you squat rack; I took 2 extra iu’s of gh today so I’m good. Lol I wish.

Thanks for the post. I completely get what you are saying. It is hard on a forum. It really isn't that I am second guessing my coach. I just would like to gain some feedback from other's with some expereince. As this will be my second show I am new to the whole process. Yea I have cycled a few times, but it was more of just to get bigger and nothing I took very seriously. But, the past year and half is goal oriented. I have a purpose. Sreamlined focus on what I have to do. But, there is so much to learn. Which is why I came on here. But you're right about how the culture is on a forum. You have to take somethings with a grain of salt. But, I am like a sponge wanting to learn and grow now since this is an important part of my life now.

Well, my main goal is to do a little bulking for the first part....and then start cutting for the last part. I mean this is what my coach has given me. That is why I am here. just to see people's opinions on what he has me doing for prep. What would you do differently? These are my questions I am looking to get from this post. Tweak what you would do if you were telling someone how to prep for a show.

Not sure what you read or misinterpreted. But I guess that's how online goes. My interaction with Makwa who seems very educated and knowledgeable was very intuitive. I ask him questions and give my thanks. So again not sure how i "Know it all" I have stated in my original post that I APPRECIATE ANY AND ALL ADVICE....and that I am here to LEARN...and have thanked anyone for their advice. So please sire....tell me HOW I sound like I know it all.....seriously because I in NO way spoke like a know it all.....secondly i was asked what I placed in my first show. I will say it again....my post is for help tweaking it for the better. I never said this is the BEST cycle ever BROOOOO So offer some knowledge my way....school me....I am here to learn....what would you add...take out...or change about the prep cycle.

Re-read the last paragraph at the bottom of my post. You may have missed that

Lol...good to know. I was just surprised at someone with that much karma clearly has been here for a while and most likely has given good feedback and helped guys out when they ask questions. So to see a response like that threw me off. I went over all my responses and I am being completely genuine and ASKING for advice which implies I am here to learn and not a "know it all"....

I deleted my cycle from the other post because it was WAY off tangent. It was a comparison of two orals. Not to lay out my whole cycle and critique it there. I wanted USEFUL info on those two from expereinced guys since Tbol was something I JUST started hearing about. So I came here for advice. I decided to make a thread here, because I thought it was more appropriate to go over my cycle in the cycles section to keep things on tangent and organized....I mean that's the right thing to do isn't it?

And when Makwa was speaking about the cycle when you commented it was way overexaggerated by saying I was going to be taking orals for 18 weeks. That as you can see above is no where near the case. So again, that's why I needed to post here for more simply just about my cycle.

Again, it's all about the approach. people come here for advice. Some are just trolls, but I clearly express my gratitude to those who answer respectively. And never come off as "knowing it all".

Didn't you ask for pics....I said I would send you some of my first show. Of course we all have things to work on so if you're looking to just bash then there no point. I am only willing to upload the pics for the fact you wanted me to prove I was real or something..... I tried uploading them into my profile but not sure why they are not showing up. I was also wondering this for both the deca and EQ. A friend said 600 or both you notice more results. But, I wanted to post what I thought I planned on doing on here and get some good advice from the vets of the game

Deca and test for 26 weeks? Over half a year. Regardless of gains, how did you feel?

Given the time crunch, I want to make it clear what you do and the long term effects are on you buddy. Like makwa said, 18 weeks of nandrolones sounds like trt.
BUT
I know you’re probably just gonna run with what you’ve got so I’ll propose, as you suggested, some tweaks.

Your bulking drugs are all long estered, if you want bang out of the gates swap EQ for bold cyp and deca for npp. You’ll see effects in 1-2 weeks not 4-8. Also you may want to use your sust during this phase since the npp is gonna kick quick and the short esters in the sust should match it and keep that limp noodle away. Anadrol don’t run it six weeks straight, 2 on 2 off for 6 weeks total would be better. And watch your BP.

For the cut swap the sust for test prop. Then there’s no decanoate ester holding water when you’re trying to dry out and with the tren and mast you’re pinning every day anyway. Winny the last four weeks just for water and leave out the halo. Or halo and no winny, not both.

That being said I think you should do a later show and take your time with it. DONATE BLOOD this cycle needs it.

You aren't running 2 separate cycles, you are running 1 long 18 wk cycle. Personally I don't think it is a very well thought out cycle but if you have a coach I guess I would just go along with what he is telling or get rid of him. I would really be picking his brain on why he thinks this is a good prep cycle and to see if he is just blowing smoke up your ass by calling himself a coach.

He was my coach for my first show. I feel the results were good. I paced second in my first show at a pretty well known show in the state. But, I mean i am open to suggestions and ideas of what to change. I always enjoy hearing advice

If it worked ok for you the first go around then I would probably just do it again and listen to your coach. You have already started cycle so I am kind of late to the party now.

I am starting next week. Which will be 18 weeks out. So you are not too late to offer advice lol. I can always get rid of stuff and get other stuff. Thats not an issue.

No need for an 18 wk cycle unless your sitting at 25% bodyfat which I don't think you are. What are your current stats.

I am 5'9 210 at about 9-11% BF. I am trying to just add a little muscle. Maybe like 5-6 pounds over my weight in last time. I weighed in 189 last show. I would like to weigh in at 197. So i am not looking to do a full blown off season bulk. My show was Nov. 4th . So I came off for the last 6 weeks and starting this 18week cycle to add a little more muscle.

The old bulk and cut cycle. Not going to work You have only been off 6 wks and want to hop back on right away. Not a good plan. You need to pick a show later in the year so you can give your body a break and allow it to reset. That is the best advice I can give you. You are heading for that long dark road of trt just for a plastic trophy. Not worth it. What's the rush to hop back on. It's not like there aren't going to be any more shows.

Well, I want to do two shows next year. May and October. The one in april isn't really a tough show as I've been told from a lot of peopl who go to these routinely. So, I picked the one right before Jr. Nationals. So that I can try to qualify for that show. My goal is to go pro in 2 years. If that doesn't happen. I will keep it more of a hobby/lifestyle as most do.

4 weeks of halo for. BB show? In full disclosure, I really dont know much about prepping for a show so mayne thats normal. Just curious because I know it as a strength compound

I am just following what my coach suggested. He has plenty of experience. So i dont know lol. I ran it for 30 days for my last show. I felt great. and was happy with what I brought on stage.

I dont see your comment. Please copy an paste here. I made this one because the other thread was getting off tangent. And I kept getting asked about my cycle that's why i posted it in there. This thread is specifically what I can change to make it a more solid cycle. I appreciate any advice!
