Long road to recovery
On Feb 4 i was in a horrible wreck and sustained a shattered femur, fractured pelvis, transverse fractures of the L4 and L5 vertebra along with bruised spleen, kidneys, and pancreas. As of now, I no longer have any stitches or staples left in my body. I will be leaving the hospital tomorrow to begin the real recovery journey. I started my cruise Jan 1, but last shot was Jan 31 because I have not had any access to ANY ofmy gear. I'm trying to figure out how to recover from this. Do I just go back to cruise dose when I get back to my gear? Since I can't afford HGH I have been contemplating adding low dose Deca to my cruise but I'm not going to be able to hit the gym for like 6 to 12 months, so I don't even know if that is a good idea. I'm just trying to get through this and back to the gym without hurting myself any more than I already am. I'm not trying to rush back into the gym but I would like to speed up the healing process.
PS... Today i did 3sets of 15 lifting my left foot 3 inches off the ground and was able to get from a Physical therapy table to the floor and back off the floor by myself. BOOM. Beat that Shit!!! LOL

Sirk1981BOOM!!! I was released from the hospital and have made it home. Now the real recovery can begin. I would like to thank everybody for their support while I was in the hospital. Yall keep lifting and make sure you do a set or two for me.
RustyhookerYour spine....hairline fractures that'll heal or any ruptures? The deep bruising of spleen etc will heal. Just sore as hell. Bones mend but takes time.
Cruise....so you're trt by script or bloid testing at home? I don't know if you remember but a while back i broke both elbows. Bleh
Sirk1981Test level of 232 when I was 30. I'm 32 now. Both elbows, WTF? what the hell were you able to do? I know everything is going to heal eventually. And yes I hurt pretty damn bad. The pain killers BARELY take the edge off. I never used to take them. I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at the same time years back and never filled the script, same for when I broke my foot. This is definitely the worst poussin I've ever felt. I can't wait to get released tomorrow around 4 so I can hurt at home. Lol
RustyhookerYes you'll get your trt established so you're level. I wouldn't hit a blast until both the pt and base strength are done. Then a mild blast but keeping the workouts more of medium weight. Pumps over brute so any weak edges are repaired before you get wild.
Yup! I went a lil wild in mosh pit. Landed on both elbows. Then Dr says screws/plates or decide how i want arm fused. Eff that! Straight to home pt. Workout was with a huge can of soup. Curls, extensions and rotations. 16Oz workout when 2 Weeks prior i was busting big style. But Thats all i could grasp. No fused parts. No screws or plates. Listened to body closely. Muscle memory will be your best friend. All light reps and range of motion. It'll come back.
Sirk1981I'm not really looking to blast until next year but thinking that low dose Deca with TRT couldn't hurt. But that could be the brain damage talking, IDK. I'm on a 5 pound restriction for lifting. I look at those little dumb bells and laugh at myself until my back starts to hurt and the fatigue kicks in at about rep # 10. Lol.
RustyhookerJust gotta watch out for the "masking" effect. I'd bet that just simple pt will get ya going
Sirk1981That's why I was throwing the idea around and not just jumping in head first. I think I'm just going to have a fund raiser to get me some HGH. I'm just a total noob when it comes to HGH. I'm not sure at what dose to run it to aid in recovery. I'm not trying to get stupid with it just enough for benefits, if I'm making myself clear
