Chobani Greek Yogurt

ad

Just seeing how many of yall like Chobani Yogurt? I love this shit and its really high in protein, its like 12-14 gs of protein per little cup of it. Sometimes when Im out of protein I bring like 4 of them to the gym with me and eat them on the way home..obviously its not the same as a big serving of whey protein or is it? I usually run 2 scoops..about 50gs of whey protein for after i work out, would i get the same results by eating 4-5 of these yogurts?

Greek yogurt in general is awesome. I don't bother with Chobani though, too expensive. I get the store brand for a buck less and can't tell the difference. I only buy plain.

Personally not worried about sugar cals, my body burns them so fast it's like I never had them.

That being said, I love taking a cup of blueberry or apple cinnamon and putting it in my oat meal! Delicious and a damn good way to get a carb loaf and add protein to it. I have it a lot as my last meal before bed around 9-10. I have a very fast metabolism, ectomorph, so I need all the carbs and protein I can get.

To answer your question it is probably made up of mostly slow digesting protein, casein.. Whey protein isolate has a better amino acid profile than almost everything. But definatrly eat the Greek yogurt it has protein and digestive enzymes.. Its a Good midnight snack

Love the stuff. plain greek yogurt at least twice a day. Throw some almonds or fresh fruit in there or blend some up in a protein shake. Stuffs a life save when your traveling or in a rush

I like plain Greek yogurt and eat it several times a week, but I have a hard time finding something that tastes good and is low in fat and sugar. My wife purchased a new one the other day (some organic brand) and I decided to give it a shot. It was the tastiest yogurt I have EVER had. It wasn't until I finished the whole thing, until I started to think that this can't be low in sugar and fat. As I read the indigence list, my worst fears were confirmed. Full of cane sugar and cream....cream!!! Now one thing of yogurt isn't going to kill my diet, but it made me more vigilant about reading things before I eat them, especially when I am hungry. Oh well, it was delicious!

If you get the Greek non fat yogurt it's 23g of protein per serving and only like 9g of carbs it's good as shit if you mix it with a scoop of protein and then put it in the freezer for about an hour
