Talked my old man into testosterone shots

ad

So yea I brought up test injections to my dad told him all the benefits. He has low t his was around 240 or 270 a year ago.

anyways my dad has Kaiser insurance so I was hoping if anyone had kaiser could help out. He wants to know what to do to get started I told him to tell his doc he thinks he has low T so he will order a blood test. Well does he need to visit an endo or can the regular doc do the script?

Also his plan has maximum coverage and minimum copays so does anyone get rx test for cheap with kaiser? How much does it cost about

I went to my GP and he did a blood test and found low test levels. My dr gives me the script and I get filled thru my insurance. 3 bottles of Cyp Watson Pharma every 6 weeks for 17.50....

You don't need an endo specifically, my firs t testosterone doctor was a heart doctor, but your best bet will probably be an endo or look around for a med spa that does hormone therapy.

I'm not sure about the costs.. But I would try to aim for an endo or hunt around for someone who knows what they're doing.. Most docs are idiots when it comes to HRT and TRT and will try to palm off a cyp shot every 2 weeks.. I actually had a doc that tell me I'd die in a few decades if I took steroids lol..

Smart move getting your dad into trt.. you'll have a healthier father you can spend more years with

Thanks I will try and locate an endo and I'll get him set up! Next step will be getting him into the weight room haha

Hmm if he hasn't lifted in a while or has arthritis.. start with things like swimming.. it's much easier on the joints.. that's what we did for my father and he had all kinds of injuries.. after a while of conditioning his body and trt he'll have a much easier time transitioning to weight lifting or any other athletic activities..

He goes on long bicycle rides and walks and stuff so hes not a crusty old man aha but yeah I will try to get him started on light weight lifting routine to start out.
