NyQuil helps me fall asleep but it's a drugged sleep not a restful sleep if that makes sense. In fact, same thing happens to a friend of mine as you. Makes him wired instead of sleepy.

People don't believe me when I say I wake up 20-30+ times a night. Sometimes it's just to turn over, others it's to go to the bathroom. Past few nights, I wake up maybe twice, go to the bathroom once and the rest of the night I am in a very deep sleep which hasn't happened in a looooong time.
