Thank you bud. I think a cut is in the works, my body isn’t cooperating with the amount of food I’m pushing. I don’t know if I’m getting sick or if this cholesterol medicine is taking a toll on me. I’m getting blood work done this upcoming week, if my numbers are still off I’m going to have to dial it back.
Over eating has no benefits
That’s the truth, I’ve just been feeling sick, extremely lethargic and unusually sore. Usually I’m starving all day but the last 2 days I’ve been having to force feed myself. Hopefully I’m just getting sick but I’ll find out soon enough if I need to slow down.
You might need a week break from the gym. That happened to me before my liver enzymes were thru the roof but it was from muscle damage because I tested my cpk and if that's high and ggt normal. I took week off everything for better. You just taxed probably.
I think you’re right. My wife and I have a trip planned in July, I actually told her I should take those 4 days off and let my body reset. As far as my liver enzymes they looked fine the last blood work I had done. I was on the outer edge but my doc wasn’t concerned. It’s my cholesterol that’s out of whack.

Lol. Including the Hersheys nuggets I splurge on during the day Im getting right at 3500 calories, roughly 250 carbs, and 330ish protein. When I start Deca this winter I’m dropping 2 rice meals to potatoes. The plan is to add right at 50 more carbs and 500 more calories.
I’m taking in roughly 3500 right now which that number includes a 650 calorie shake before bed and the weight is coming on slow. If you had to pick a food source I should be eating daily what is it and at what amount?
I’m doing the oatmeal peanut utter white bread rice potatoes etc I am switching it daily a bit sometimes I wonder if I should just do rice one week then next all potatoes and just see what my body does lol

Lol. Peanut butter bloats me too. It’s taken me years to find what my body likes and dislikes. It all comes down to cost, what can you afford.

This is just my opinion, but I’d drop the shake. They are all garbage, nothing is more anabolic than food. I use to drink a shake after workouts and all it did was bloat me, there’s nothing but fillers and additives in it. This is my meal plan as of now, feel free to write it down and tweak it to your needs.
Meal 1 - 4 whole eggs and 2 turkey sausage patties
2 - protein yogurt, 3 hard boiled egg whites, and I drink a cup of pasteurized egg whites
3 - 5 oz grilled chicken and 1 cup of brown rice
4 - same as 3
5 - same as 3 and 4
6 - same as 3, 4, and 5
7 - post workout - 3 whole eggs, protein yogurt and 2 packs of grits
8 - bedtime - 3 hard boiled egg whites and drink 1 cup of egg whites
I snack on things during the day because even though it sounds like a lot of food it really isn’t. I’m literally starving all day so I’ll eat some rice cakes and hard boiled egg whites in between meals. I don’t count the rice cakes usually since they are basically nothing but carbs and calories.

I wouldnt give up on the protein shake with dextrose post workout. Maybe try a different brand of protein that doesnt bloat. Then eat your post workout eggs

I don’t process beef very well, and I’m hypoglycemic. White rice makes my sugar plummet.

@BTRV and onetimehitta it seems like we all have a simple diet with not eating as much. This diet is basic and simple and pretty much all you need. Honestly at times I'm just getting 4 meals. Most times I get more.

Your diet is pretty much the same diet that 70's bodybuilders had. Nothing fancy but it works. That's the way to do it.
