+ 3 TRT Doctor ordered bloodwork
ad
I'm prescribed 125mg a week of testosterone cypionate. My docotor has has also put me on an Ipamorelin and Sermorelin protocol. He wants to take me off the peptides due to my IGF-1 levels being too high. He doesn't know that I added Mod GRF 1-29.

How high was your IGF-1 with Ipamorelin and MOD GRF 1-29? I feel like there aren't enough blood work done on peptides, would be very interesting to know how much peptides can make your IGF-1
I HIGHLY recommend finding a good endo you can trust, preferably one that that more than just diabetic patients etc, otherwise its not going to be a great experience for you.
Molinin302These are healthy labs and get a +1 from me. However... Sure you're being open here? Even at 125mg you should be much higher. Much much higher. This is from a pharmacy?
I had some health issues due to black mold last year that severely suppressed my testosterone levels while on TRT. I'm still not 100%. These numbers are a vast improvement. I ended up moving last year into an old building. My testosterone levels dropped significantly. I was run through a battery of tests. Doctors thought I had Lyme disease. You may think it's low but I feel tremendously better. My levels have been going up with each bloodwork done since the completion of the mold removal.
Molinin302Just read your other posts. You're full of shit and wasting people's time. Sorry, but not sorry. Take care man.
Do you know anything about black mold? I didn't feel like I needed to go in depth into my entire medical history. I got on TRT with a 245 ng/dl. My levels went up after 3 months but then plummeted. My estradiol levels skyrocketed. I can't recall the exact numbers. My memory has been negatively affected. I've been having trouble recalling specific details. I was having a severe reaction to the mold after moving that caused a bunch of health problems such as headaches, difficulty breathing, coughing, sore throats, lethargy, nosebleeds, loss of libido, loss of appetite, depression, itching and chest pains to name a few. I felt like I was constantly battling cold/flues. I had no idea what was going on nor did my doctor. At first he thought I contracted a rare strain of lyme disease that is undetectable. It wasn't until I saw an infectious disease specialist that we pinpointed mold. I happened to mention I recently moved which triggered the doctor to have me test my home for mold. My testosterone levels have gradually increased as my natural production has increased. At the height of this mold problem my estradiol levels were in the 60's. Again you may think my levels are on the low side but I'm very happy where I am currently at. I went from feeling like I want to die to now feeling fairly close to normal.
Molinin302My bro, I've been wrong before. May be wrong now. Don't be offended, it's the last thing I'm going for. Just know what you're putting out there makes absolutely zero clinical sense. A few of us here are educated and knowledgeable. Again, no offense and best wishes. If you're sincere you're definitely in the right place, great suppliers and people that will give you great advice.
Now you got me thinking on why my levels aren't higher. I was just so happy to see my levels over 400 ng/dl that I didn't give much thought on why they weren't higher. My doctor felt I was still lower than I should be due to the hormone imbalance from the mold. I'll get more bloodwork done during the last week of my cycle which I will start shortly. I didn't take offense. I understand the need for people to give accurate information to promote proper education. In hindsight I should have disclosed my previous mold issue. Obviously that played a huge role in my numbers.
Black mold isnt a joke. My best friend had that shit growing under the paneling in their brand new house. His wife and baby almost died. Both got severely sick, had seizures and nose bleeds out of nowhere. She went into a 3 day coma. They or the doctors couldn't figure what was going on. Luckily they eventually figured it out. Everytime they went back to the house the symptoms would come back. They have permanent damage but atleast theyre alive. That stuff is pure evil. Best of luck. Hope your doctor's figure things out. Hopefully over time your body will normalize.
Molinin302My bro, you (all of us lol) are injecting exogenous testosterone into your body. Even at that dose I'd hope to see 1,000. As I said, you're in the right place. Just ask questions and use the search bar. Best wishes.
Only hitting 471 from 125mg is strange isn't it.
Molinin302Doesn't add up. Nope.
I'm such a scatter brain right now. I forget things all the time. I'm wondering if I forgot to take my Thursday dose before the bloodwork. My doctor did ask me if I was following the proper dosing protocol during our consultation. I was adamant that I was. The reality is I do forget to take dosages. This forgetfulness has been a major embarrassment for me. I don't like admitting it. Depression really hit me hard last year and after my car accident I contemplated suicide. I felt like my life was falling apart. I'm so desperate to hold onto any semblance of normalcy that I overlook or downplay things. I apologize for not being completely forthcoming with all details.
Molinin302We all have bad days. Get yourself together bro.
How long have you been on trt before you took blood work?
That was my 12 month bloodwork. I started TRT last year. Prior to that I was self prescribing myself testosterone without doing any doctor consultation or bloodwork. I was lectured by a veteran on how stupid I was for not getting bloodwork done.
Ya. It's definitely good to check at least twice a year just to see what's going on. Looks good. I personally like to keep test levels a little higher while trt. But as long as you feel alright and perform well, then I give it a thumbs ☝
My level prior to TRT was 245 ng/dl. I feel a lot better now. I feel like I need to see a doctor at an actual TRT clinic instead of my general practitioner. I know people with testosterone levels in the 900's on TRT.
My advice, and I speak from personal experience, would be to avoid the storefront "trt clinics". Many of them will spoon feed you your test. to get you in the door as many times as possible so they can milk you insurance. Mine wanted me to come in every week for six months. After a couple months I walked. It was ridiculous. That's their bread and butter. If I could do it again, I would go w/a proper endo.
Your Dr. is probably keeping you low to avoid prescribing you an AI. Which is generally the way it's supposed to be done. +1 for testing/sharing
