+ 7 Thoughts on Quads

ad

Im going to be very honest, I only train legs 3 times a month right now. Lower Lumbar is assed out from age and wear and tear. Im doing the Stairmaster 15 mins hard every day and using Tren Ace 200 a week, 200 Test, 200 mast. Planning on Masters Mens Physique soon, but still forming a better structure. Are these quads good enough once I condition down?

If you have back problems try belt squats. I trashed my back decades ago going too deep on very heavy leg presses. I can’t do squats properly because I’m taller also so longer femur means I have to bend over at the waist a lot to get deep so I end up working back and ass more than legs. The belt squat is amazing as I can go ass to the ground deep with zero back involved and really blast my legs

Banana hammock! Quads look rocky cut!

Big, for Men’s Physique, you’re honestly in a great spot. Legs don’t need to be crazy dominant there … with good conditioning and overall balance, you’ll look solid on stage, especially since they’re not the main focus.

Now, if you’re thinking Classic, 212, or Open, that’s a different game. You’d need more overall leg volume … quads, hamstrings, everything. Once you start getting really lean, you will lose some size, and if the base isn’t there, even with a good peak and carb-up, they won’t look full enough compared to the rest of the physique.

Being real with you though … you’re looking great, brother. This is just me answering your question from a competition standpoint. Outside of that, you’re in a very solid place already, brother man.

Thanks! Appreciated. I would love to do Classic, but my abilities to carry that size and hold it will be very hard. Usually I cant ever stay above 200 after conditioning. Maybe I need better cycles, I havent gone past 500 test yet ever. Usually run a tad under a gram of total anabolic load. Maybe I should but I think I want to try the Physique route first to get my feet wet. Again thanks man

Are you running gh? Have you tried a wolverine stack to help with your issues? If not, when your able to up your calories I'd blast some NPP and jump on that wolverine stack and see what you can make happen brother.

Im scared of GH. Mom has stage 4 cancer, Dad had cancer, Grandfather Cancer. I know I sound like a bit of a bitch, but I dont want that fight. I run NPP usually in fall, I get huge but hold water quite a bit. I need to find a way to get the volume up. I can do more leg raises. Saturdays I save for catch up for anything I fell short on. I van reserve that day for quads and hamms. And maybe Wednesdays I can hit quads and glutes. But glutes for me isnt much of a need. I dont want my waste any thicker.

I would never consider you a bitch for being smart after dealing with such battles brother. I'm truly sorry for your predisposition. That's a very difficult struggle. As for the water do you run Mast with your NPP...for example, Test P, NPP, Mast P? I personally get much less water retention with this route. The Saturday/Wednesday plan seems like a solid idea. The BPC/TB stack should help with the lumbar. I feel your struggle brother...aging is a bitch, but your doing great and it seems you have much more to offer.

Thanks allot. Men dont really ever give support, so much appreciated. I usually will run up to 300 NPP 400 Mast and 400 Test. Thats what I ran last fall to winter. I got up to 216. When I went back to TRT within 3 to 4 weeks I dropped down below 200. It had to be water mostly Im sure. My diet needs tk be more dialed in, and Id need extra income to pay for a coach. Thanks!

I've been using ol chat gpt as a diet coach and feedback loop for my day to day, and let me tell you, I'm gaining faster than I ever have on just 200 test. It's all about my diet. I finally have it locked in.

BigDdaddy's picture

Hell yeah bro....diet is way more important than gear. Once you get a diet plan that works for your body it's wild what you can do as far as gains and even overall sense of well being. I need to throw up a pic of me ten years ago when every cycle was just about bulking and eating protein no matter where it came from and then one now after I finish the cycle I just started. It's wild. I was a big ass swelled up block head back then lol. Ten years later at 45 I feel much better and quicker. I will say tho the past couple years it's become increasingly harder to put on quality muscle. Age is creeping up and it's a mother fucker!

I loved Chatgpt at first. It built my bulk cycle I listed. It even talked me into to Tren. I pulled out the Tren last year from the cycle and she got mad about it. Told me to take Winstrol to compensate lack of Tren. It worked out kind of. Now, shes a cunt. Refuses to build me cycles. Tells me everyday the tren now will kill me. I even got my BP down to 113/71 with cialis. She told me Im masking my immient death LOL

How dare she threaten you over Tren! That dirty whore! Honestly tho it gets a lot harder to put on good lean muscle as you age. I'm 45 and the past couple years the gains have gotten slower. Personally, DHB became a game changer for me. I was able to break thru a really tough plateau I had hit with it's help. Not sure if you've ran it, but it def helps combat age related gains slowing down.

Good observations. You know women piss me off, so I think I changed genders on AI once she became a bitch. And yes, about 4 months ago they added "safety restrictions" so AI is much differnet for cycle advice. I saved screenshots and showed AI and it lied.

Thank you for the clarification.
What did "she" say about those trunks you are wearing?

Well, those are just some 8 year old hanes underpants. I usually wear the boxer briefs, but onky had these. Got off the stairmaster and looked pretty pump so I shot a pic or 2. I dont own any bikin bottoms

8 year old undies dude and taking gear advice from AI! My man, its amazing you have gotten this far! Well done.
Glad you found this forum to converse with living individuals about these topics.
Good luck in the rest of your fitness journey.
As per stem cells, while I havent experienced the treatment myself I do know others who have. Unfortunately, as it stands today, its more like a very expensive bandi-aid offering limited relief.
As per your limited leg training due to injury, I would suggest a heavy simple pre-exhaustion with basic leg extensions and curls. Slow controlled and lots rep. Then use a compound movement last. You can go very light on this compound movement because the legs are already pre-exhausted. That light weight will now feel like a 1000lbs even if you are just moving a fraction of it.
Again, controlled reps, really feeling the movement. This should save your aching back and joints while still being able to train your legs intensely & effectively.
Hope this helps.
