Truth be told I only used my FB account to play a game on there that I was hopelessly addicted to (Mob Wars). once I met my lady, it was drama on there til we cuz the ties with it between ex gfs and ex bf s just not worth it. i have learned more about my body and nutrition as well as freeing my mind through meaningful dalog in 18 months on here then years of FB and MySpace, both wastes of time. My wife does instagram but only for posting workouts and nutritionalist advice. If you put a gun to my head I couldn't even figure out how to get on it lol
Also I have met my girlfriend there, but then never go there again. That's right, it's just a waste of time, however, as you say the best thing is the dialogue
I've never had a FB account believe it or not. I'm actually contractually prohibited from doing so. I truly believe I'm not missing anything whatsoever.

No mate. I work in research science and we get lots of threats etc from animal rights activists. FB was the source of some pretty nasty stuff over here a few years ago, had to have police outside my house etc. these guys have information 50 years out if date and they believe I go into a lab and torture chimps etc. (which nobody does). These are the same people that use drugs that are 50 years old that were tested on primates.
As a result, no online pics, no FB, Twitter etc. for safety. I have a lot of published material so would be very easy to find me.
Trust me bro, you're not lol. My wife and I gave them up when we got married. The only thing I can say productively about FB is that my wife saw my account on her friends page, and oddly enough SHE reached out to meet ME. My greatest accomplishment lol especially being at the time she was dating someone for years and lived with him. Trust me I still don't know how I pulled that one off, we met that night and have literally not missed a day together in over 6 years, so not all bad

That it was. No shame in being a man here and admitting I found my true love. I can go on and on but bottom line is she is my true companion in every way.. any girl that can go ass to grass for 225, wants to see slipknot in the pit and then dress fresh off the runway is just about perfect in my eyes.
