This is the MRI from my right shoulder. View is front to back. The black semi circle is the top of my arm bone. The dark, triangle shaped area is a large bone spur that is pressing into my pec muscle, the bicep tendon, and impinging some nerves going down my arm. The bright white is the muscle tissue and you can easily see how far down the bone spur has grown. This spur was getting dangerously close to my arm socket.
