labtests

ad

I had these bloods done a couple of weeks ago. I am currently using a .5ml Doc prescribed TRT dose. 100mg per week of cyp. I took my shot on Saturday afternoon and these labs were done Monday before lunch. The doc sees them and says I'm taking too much test and wants to reduce my dose. I had what I thought were some estrogen related problems and the tests confirmed it. My dose was reduced about a month ago from .6 because rbc wasnt high. They were still a little high on this one too. The doc said he was interested in anti estrogens until we could see if lowering the dose would control it. Changing docs for me isn't an option. I live in a smaller town and we just don't have that option. He is reasonable most of the time so if I could get a little input on what to discuss with him and any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Doc called in arimedex today and wants a follow-up lab in 6 weeks. Left the dose alone for now. Maybe that will stopeme from being so damn emotional when I watch Breaking Bad.

God damn it! Just press that small rotate button before you upload. It's not really that difficult.
In anycase, props for posting the labs.

Well I am not sure where to locate the rotate button on my S4. The phone doesn't show the pic before it uploads so I couldn't see it was upside down.

It's upside down...

Just wondering but can you tell me how out if range his levels are in e2?

Doss's picture

So normal range for men is below 42, right?

Those ranges aren't for men bro... The ranges set on a panel are dependent on the panel being ran. For instance, menopausal women would expect much different numbers than non-menopausal women. Also, the ranges for men are roughly 10-50 pg/dl of blood. He is way over.

My apologies bc at first glance I misread the unit of measurement, so I was curious how you determined or if you got mixed up. Just keeping my boy in check. ;)
