+ 6 Relaxed Back shot

I’ve been focusing on bringing up my back thickness the last 3-4 months and it seems to be working. Going to cut now for 3-4 months see if there’s any shape underneath the fat.

I know guys are saying don’t cut and carry on off season, I however noticed when I do my cutting phase and then go straight to off season, I have very good rebound effect. Maybe 3-4 month of the off season is not really enough, I would run that longer, don’t think you can do much in 3 month

Just remember the more you eat the harder you can push yourself in the gym man. You'll never grow of you don't eat a surplus no matter how much gear you run man. I feel you on the feeling fat part lol but I've learned eating is more important than anything for adding muscle just eat a shit ton kill your workout and do 30 min of cardio 3x a week and you'll be able to grow while maintaining decent shape. +1 keep killing it.

You guys are all right. I was back in that mindset. Time to stop worrying so much and start eating. 750 test and a good surplus should get me where I need.

++ for having the balls for uploading a photo. The lads are right though, if you want to add thickness you’ve got to live in the calorie surpluses for a while and embrace a little extra timber along the way.

Mate you barely have any muscle on you - where are your triceps even?

He leans up good but hes not getting bigger because hes scared to eat. He used to be over weight. Hes done a jam up job but he needs to retrain his thought patterns or change his goals.

Why do u want to cut? Add more size before u do a diet!
A heavy , good offseason is the key for building up mass!

All these guys are right and trying their best to help you accomomplish your goal. I spun my wheels for a while trying to bulk and stay lean. I added a little but the real gains started coming when I stopped worrying about a little fat. Also helpful for my appetite was dropping the heavy pwo stimulants which started leading to more gains. Read up on Makwa's cyclical bulking thread and check out some of the homemade mass shakes. I'd like to do a cut too but even though I've made good progress I'm not where I want to be yet so a cut at this point would just delay me from hitting my ultimate goal. Just have to be honest with ourselves about where we're at vs. where we want to be and work a goal-oriented program of diet/gym until we hit it.

Quit thinking like that. You dont have to get sloppy but walking around below 7% just isn't sustainable or healthy.
You've got to eat to grow. This lean bulk baloney just doesnt work imo. I dont like the term recomp either.
Your not fat.
