I don't know where I screwed up. Normally I am thorough and safe and clean with my injections.
I pinned my left quad Thursday morning, did legs Thursday afternoon, pip started Thursday night got that Friday morning.
Saturday it was swollen and hurt, but I was still treating it like pip, even went to work. By Sunday my whole leg was swollen and I was scared didn't know what to do. I Kept treating it like PIP hoping it would go away. Monday went to work then left early to go to the ER.
IV antibiotics all Monday night. Tuesday morning they did a CT scan and found a gnarly abscess entangled in my quad muscles lower outside of my thigh. 6+ inches below my injection site.
I went in for surgery 8:30 PM Tuesday night. Now I'm laid out in a hospital bed with a wound VAC installed in my leg sucking the poison out of my body. Going back to the operating room Thursday morning to have the vac pulled out. Friday morning they should be done with the drains and everything and finish closing my leg up.
So about Saturday I will start recovery of a wound in my left leg that the doctor literally compared to a chainsaw accident.
I am praying that this post helps somebody else stay vigilant in their pinning process.
STAY CLEAN WASH EVERYTHING SWAB EVERYTHING WITH ALCOHOL USE A BRAND-NEW DRAWING PIN, THEN A BRAND-NEW STICKING PIN, COVER YOUR INJECTION SITE WITH A BAND-AID.

Bro I have PIP right now from 4 days ago.. right quad is swollen up; Imma give it two more days before seeking medical attention.. im sure its just the fact of it being a 4ml pin test-p and mast-p
4ml is a healthy dose for a quad pin........even if its a huge quad. If you are swollen and sore, heat and deep tissue massage might be the ticket. However if your quad is hot to touch, your body has a fever of 100 degrees or more don't wait........it could end up costing you big time. Play it safe and keep us posted.
Im all good now, just some pip from the 4ml.. next time ill keep it under 3mls... first time i went higher then 3... lesson learnt. Thanks for your concern bro

Hang tough bro you will bounce back. 18 years ago I did a clean sterile pin right quad.....5days later fever 104 degrees...quad bright red, hot and rock hard. Doc took 4 inch 18 g pin on 100ml syringe and filled it with pus filled blood...then massaged and squeezed my aching quad like a zit dumping another 75-100 ml on the table and floor. Antibiotic IV,IM and orals. 72 hours later back for another 50ml of pus pulled out. Healed in 60 days. It was dirty gear....funny thing is today is day 6 of the worst flu ever......due to dirty gear. My right glute is killing me but the swollem throat, fever and body aches like I was hit by a truck. I am going back to my old school protcol. Every new order comes in pin each vial bake for 20 minutes at 160 degrees. Then each vial starts with a 1/2ml shot in a delt to test it prior to full useage. Plus strong antibiotics on hand. I done getting sick like this. I knew a local guy close to getting his pro card about 18 years back.....lost the outer head of his left quad in leg saving surgery due to dirty gear.

When I even get a hint of redness/swelling I take antibiotics it happened just recently with a slin pin for HGH I don't know what I did wrong but I got to it so fast it couldn't progress beyond a tiny red bump in my belly fat.... Hope you get back to being able to train soon bro!

The updated pics of your wound looks, (And this is just my opinion), looks like it's going to leave a SLIGHT scar on the leg for you, Mate.
Let me ask you something. On the original pics you posted, the one with the pump in the leg, was that a charcoal plaster bandage on TOP of the leg, holding in the device, or did they actually cut away a diamond shape piece of your flesh, like it looks like? It's such a gnarly looking pic of the wound, I was just wondering.

hey bro, i think you missed my post the other day, all good, im wondering what the diagnosis is? what type of poisoning? was it staph? cellulitis? what caused it have they told you yet? culture results? im keen too know bro, this is the most vicious wound from abscess ive ever seen... let us know mate.
Well, the first thing they did when I got here was antibiotics IV. So the bacterial cultures didn't grow anything. So they don't know. Guessing staff though.

staph sux, i nearly died from it, tattoo infection, i went to dr got anti biotic tabs, week later hospital. the crevices in skin were so deep you could touch bone with fingers. it turned too blood poisoning, you have staph living on your skin everyone does, you can push it through when injecting. ffs bro, hope you heal soon!

I don't necessarily think it's fair to blame the supplier. I'm just not a fan of these very strongly dosed Oils. Anything over 275mg/ml I refuse to use.
Before my Injection I ALWAYS Shower, Sterilise my "Work Tray" Cleanse my hands with Antibacterial Gel. I then use a fresh needle, swab the stopper, draw the oil and recap. I then swab the stopper before storing the bottle. I then change the needle, fully swab the Injection site and then Inject. After slowly withdrawing the Needle I massage with a fresh Sterile swab.
I still got an infection using 1ml of 400mg/ml uncut into my Shoulder.
The quality of the oil was fine as I used it before and after having the problem. But this was always into my Quad. imo it was just too strong and putting this into a smaller muscle it couldn't handle it.

I hope you recover quickly brother!! I just had a scare myself. I pinned in my right glut and the next day it swelled up and hurt so bad, from like right at the top of the crack all the way over to just under my hip bone. No redness was not warm just felt like a giant knot and hurt like a bitch!! Been about 5 days now and it's slowly going down and getting better, each day a little more then the last. But this was the first time that I was actually afraid that I may have fucked up... Anyway best of luck to your bother, get well soon!! +1

jayiski ended up in the hospital for 4 days on IV antibiotics but that was due to interjection bad gear in my shoulder.

im sure u were 100% doing the right pinning but its not like we are pinning in sterile environments right? Ive even heard of patients in the hospital getting infections. Things happen.

Damn that's crazy. Wish you could pin point (no pun intended) on where you went wrong. Did you say you cut your gear before injecting? Get better soon!
I did not cut the gear with the quad injection. But I did cut it with a Glute injection, and had no problems with that.
Do you think you were moving the pin around while it was in your quad? Have you pinned your quad before with no issues in the same location?
Yeah I pinned this spot several times no problem. No, I held the pin still with one hand and asp then plunged with the other- minimal movement.
Did you wipe the top of the vial off with an alcohol wipe as well as the site before injection or do you think it was dirty gear? Sorry if you've already answered this.

AnonWent through your pics and saw what supplier ypu used to pin. That same source has had multiple people get reactions. Id send your bottle to angus to be tested. This is why i will never use that source because of inconsistencies of the quality of his gear.
