+ 1 My Lab Baseline Pre TRT - From 11/20/2012
ad
I wanted to show what my baseline testosterone was before TRT. I was in a period of chronic stress for a really long time, then my nut sack shriveled up and I felt like total shit. Every time I went to the gym it took me a week or two to recover. Then I started doing a lot of research and found some great helpful advice on eroids. This site has become my new sanctuary. I feel better now than I have for a long time. If you are searching for a better quality of life, then you have found the place to be my fellow brothers. I have found bdsupplements to be a rock solid supplier.

breakingfaceWhat are you doing to address the other health concerns in that report?
Also, I just realized something that I forgot to mention that may have caused the triglycerides/cholesterol to be elevated. I didn't fast for this test which you are supposed to do for a lipid panel. My intent was to measure testosterone, so I wasn't concerned with trying to make the lipid panel numbers look good and I didn't realize it was part of the test my Doc ordered. So that may explain the higher numbers.
Now you got me curious. I've need to order a lipid panel test and do a proper prep for it.
That is an excellent question. As far as cholesterol, I can't or won't take a statin. I've tried numerous ones: lipitor, pravistatin. They definitely lower the number. I have a big bottle of pravistatin sitting in my drawer. It gives me terrible joint and back pain, so its just not worth it. I feel like total shit on them. I'd rather live without joint pain and suddenly die of a heart attack than to live in constant pain in the hopes that I might not have a heart attach. It's about quality of life vs risks. I've even used a homeopathic supplement by Apex Energetics called 'Choleststar' which is basically a blend of Red Rice Yeast Extract, Garlic, Chromium, etc, it is a natural statin. It used to work great for me 10 years ago, but my cholesterol started to rise even while I was on the 'Cholestar'. Then I doubled the dosage of the cholestar, then I had the same side effects as the harsh lipitor and pravistatin. So that is a no go. Secondly, quality control was an issue. Some batches were inconsistent. It has been in the 210-260 range for a good number of years so I've come to accept it. I don't do fried foods, bacon, pork, junk food, salty chips, soda, and candy. I drink water by the pitcher. I'm damn near a vegetarian. That alone has got my numbers down quite a bit to a tolerable level.
However, I am concerned about my triglycerides. That is a bit too high for my comfort zone. I used to take a lot of fish oil, but it became such a burden with all the supplements I was lugging around and I didn't feel any better, so a few years ago I said fuck it. I stopped taking vitamins, enzymes, fish oil, all of it. I was spending around $300-$400 per month on homeopathic supplements and I still felt like shit. At the time I felt if this is the way life is going to be, I'm ready to get the fuck out of here and take a cab ride to heaven brother.
But in the past month or so, I've been feeling better thanks to bd, I'm taking my daily vitamins, supplements, b complex, glucosomine chondroiton, etc. and I actual give a shit for the first time in a long time.
That said, what do you recommend for those health concerns given my lack of tolerance for statins? And what about the triglycerides? Does fish oil work for that?
Thanks for asking about these health concerns. That really means a lot to me. My doctor looked those numbers over back in Nov and I told him about my statin intolerance then he shrugged his shoulders. If he can't prescribe something the big pharmaceuticals peddle where he can get a kick back, he really doesn't have anything to offer. I've come to the conclusion Doctors don't want to truly make you well, they want to keep you half way between well and sick. That is where the money is made. That's why my Doc was only giving me 400 mg of Test Cyp per month: just enough to keep me barely alive with a pulse.
Wow! That is low as hell man, thank god you hopped on TRT. You gonna ever see a legit doc? BDsupps is an awesome supplier as many other here are but god forbid something happens it is good to have your own sterile human grade test always on hand just in case
That lab (11/20) is from when I saw the Doc. A week later, he gave me a shot of 2ml (400mg) depo test cyp after he saw the results. From that point, he started giving me 2ml (400mg) depo test every 4 weeks. I still felt like shit. So I went the DIY route here on eroids. I feel a hell of a lot better now on bd's matrix. I'm trying to stock up as much as possible. I'm starting to acquire a collection.
I thought about going to an endocrinologist, but I just don't have much luck with doctors.
