+ 2 Mid-cycle (8 weeks) labs: Test E/EQ cycle

ad

These were run at mid cycle of a Test E (500/wk) and EQ (600/wk) run. I was running arimidex (pharma) .5mg eod, and am going to bump it to .5mg ed to bring the e2 into range. I pin TNE about once a week, and this may have been enough to drive the estradiol up a bit.

The surprise is the AST (74) and ALT (73) liver function numbers. I am not running any orals (except for Proviron) so I wasn't expecting this. I have Liv52 and Milkthistle on hand and am going to add them.
Could the Proviron be responsible?

Otherwise, not much concern. The Test serum number is actually higher than I expected.

Thanks, I will look into it further; perhaps discuss with my prescriber. I do have aromasin on hand, but had started with adex. I am not overly concerned about the e2 numbers though, as I am not off the charts, and it may have been a spike that was TNE related.

I like using adex 0.25mg ed nothing wrong with taking daily.

That makes no sense bro. Either more frequent dosing or long half lives will even out blood concentrations of the drug but there's no reason you can't take arimidex every day (or test E for that matter).

What brand of arimidex are you using?

JASON_C's picture

Prescription/generic anastrozole.

mnaps's picture

Yes but which generic - just curious...

I have no way of knowing...it's whatever the drugstore dispenses. But I do know that it is about 80% less expensive than brand arimidex.

Thanks. I figured you got it from naps ...

Thanks for the timely referral and the links. I had pushed out some really killer workouts and upped the cardio, so that is a very likely reason.

Its a myth that only orals can be liver toxic. Any drug can cause liver toxicity depending on your predisposition

where did you come up with that hypothesis from

It is not a hypothesis most of drugs are metabolised in the live if u do not have proper enzimes for that then every drug can be liver toxic. I know with oral AAS u have it for granted. But I leave this link here anyways. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/21421678/?i=1&from=liver%20toxicity...

thats not what I'm saying. Not everything is toxic to the liver. Sure almost everything is but what about kidneys

Not everything is liver toxic but most of drugs COULD be liver toxic based on ur individual predisposition. We actually dont know much about liver toxicity mechanism. Nd kidney one depends also on many individual factors
