+ 18 Elevated AST or ALT what to do? Read this and find out

ad

I see this question a lot. Read this and learn something. So your running a cycle and have been training hard. You've been putting in the work and are seeing results. Been feeling good. Strength is up, pounds are up,libido is good. Your on top of the world. So you decided to get a mid cycle blood test to see how things are going blood wise. You get your results back and notice that your AST or ALT or both are flagged high. Oh shit what to do? Well that depends. If your feeling great and its in double digits I would say nothing. It's normal. You see we correlate elevated #'s with liver damage but is it. I'm here to tell you the majority of the time it is elevated just from exercise and is normal. Read the links below so you will know whats normal and what is not. But how do you know for sure? Well if you feel it is to high get a GGT(Gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase) test. It is a more specific liver test. GGT is used to detect diseases of the liver or bile ducts. It is also done with other tests (such as the ALT, ALP, and bilirubin tests) to tell the difference between liver or bile duct disorders and bone disease. It's also used to screen for alcohol abuse. If this test is elevated along with the others then Houston we have a problem and it's time to see your DR. If it's normal then we are good to go. So if your elevated AST or ALT is in the 100's get a GGT test. If it's nomal your good. Just remember what I'm telling you is not bro-science. Just read and learn it's based on medical fact. With that said when in doubt go see a DR. As always let me know what you think.
Wanted also to comment why some have higher elevated levels than others. If your drinking alcohol while on cycle it will elevate liver values even higher. That binge drinking for just one night will cause it to rise. So try not to drink on cycle.

Thank you for this informative post, I just got my bloods back and had high values for AST:48 and ALT:71. I was initially worried, but reading these studies has helped put my mind to rest. I will continue to monitor these values and will definitely get more test in the future if my levels get to the triple digits!

"Mod Transferase Test" is used to evaluate the functioning of eroids, bile duct and sources. It is widely used for the diagnosis of any kind of Troll damage.

Screening by this Mod Transferase, along with some other Members, provides information about the
status of Troll function. The "GGT (Get Gone Troll) test" is recommended to determine the underlying causes of bad reviews (and promo whore levels), which is also elevated in different sources.

Low levels of GGT is a determinants of Troll diseases, whereas high levels of MOD, ADV, EXP and
GURU are increased quality reviews and have been used as founts of info in forums.

Troll genes are found to be elevated in 75% of alcohol abusers and Rusty. thus is used
for the screening of such individuals.

Excellent info. +1

Just to touch on personal experience. Before I even started gear my doc noticed elevated AST and ALT so he sent me for an ultrasound and additional bloods to make sure I was OK. Everything checked out so he attributed it to excersize.

So yes, what you state is definitely not bro science.

Same thing happened to me. Was on or had just come off of dbol. Raised my levels. I got tested for Hepititas and had and ultra sound. Both came back fine. Made me think about being on orals for too long, especially if I have my annual physical coming up.
