Just wanted to chime in and say great job. Stuff like this is what makes Eroids the best. Everyone here may be here for different reasons, but most are here to help. Everyone wants to improve themselves and it's great to read and see you're progress. Please keep it up and keep us updated. Very best of luck.

Thanks vhman, it's great to be a part this community, hopefully my progress pictures will be my encouragement to others.

Sorry I'll be brief - I'm travelling for work. Latest BIA measurements are completely off. I can see this from the pic progression. That's why I suggested callipers and reading from there going forward. This is working well and I am glad we switched your macros up a bit with some input from Makwa. It's working well. Give me a week and I'll have a further macro adjustment and new training program for you. Well done. Amazing work here. I am impressed and proud.

Slimming down nicely. Keep at it. +1

You have dropped quite a bit of bodyfat. How much have you increased your lean body mass?

Karubu's picture

Always nice to see you Makwa! BIA says lean mass went down and body fat increased, I ordered a body fat caliper, so we'll see.

Makwa's picture

Hmmm....Dropping lean mass is not what we want.....means your metabolism is slowing down. You have been on restricted cals for quite a long time I think?

Dacky was saying the BIA is probably off. I did my calipers and sent him the numbers. Next time I use the BIA I will ask for a second measurement to see if the numbers are close and compare those numbers to my previous readings.

Here is a quick recap:
I started my healthy life style: eating clean after my dad died Christmas 2014, and started walking everyday starting in April 2015. My starting weight was 101kg, all I did was eat clean and go for a walk everyday.

~ March 2016 added resistance training I think it was "Short cut to size" Jim Stepponi

Monday-Tuesday: resistance + cardio.
Wednesday active rest day.
Thursday to Friday: resistance + cardio.
Saturday: active rest day.
Sunday day off.

April 6th 2016 I go down to 78.2kg (172.04lbs) from 88.6kg (194.92lbs) back in January 24, 2016.
For a total loss of 10.4kg (22.88lbs).

I didn't end up buying a body fat caliper as my dietitian was authorized to buy a special scale with a BF% calculator.

Protein:40-50%, Carbs 10-30%, Dietary Fats:30-40%.

~Aug 2016
Strategy: Resistance training 6 days a week, limited cardio (walking). Screwed up my ankle, I wore tensor bandages around my ankles.

~Oct 2016
Started working with Dacky doing fasted cardio in the morning 4-5 times a week, strength training 4 times a week, evening walks 4-5 times a week.

~Nov 2016
I started cutting out the evening walks due to the weather. Still doing the treadmill in the morning while my downstairs neighbour was at work.

~Dec 2016
Started strength training then got side tracked with traveling across the province visiting family for Christmas, winter illness, mine and the kids.

~Jan-Feb 2017
I'm back on board with the strength training.

I'm probably missing some stuff, check out my self shots to see the progression.

I just spoke to a lab, they said only with a doctor's requisition can you get blood work done.

Try medicheck...

I'll have to check the exporting laws of blood samples. If I am not mistaken Medichek is in the UK, I am in Canada.

Probably no good for you then. Hopefully you find somewhere to get bloods taken. +2 on your progress too, good to see someone doing it right.
