+ 20 Looking for some critique..

ad

Okay, I'm eight and a half weeks out and feeling a little shaky about my progress, not sure if I'm sitting okay where I'm at. Still working on the posing thing and lighting sucks but it is what it is. Took these at the end of the day after lifting and cardio. So I'm feeling a little crappy and bloated right now lol.
Calories at 1250, macros p 141 c 78 f42. All really clean, chicken, turkey, veggies, pb, oatmeal, sweet potatos. Gallon of water. No red meat or fruit, dairy only in the form of occasional cottage cheese. No cheat meals Blum 3
Lifting 5-6 days a week, 3 glute and hamstring focused. Cardio after lifting, four to five times a week, usually hitt 15 to 25, then a little low intensity to cool down.
Thinking of doing a winny cycle to preserve my muscle as I lean down more toward the end of prep, but still deciding, I just feel way too bulky right now. Any suggestions or feedback, Id love to hear it Smile

Looking picturesque Young Lady! A beautifully crafted and well contoured physique! Eight and a half weeks is plenty of time to dial it in! Very symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing! Everything comes together harmoniously! You are going to rock this competition! Outstandingly accomplished! +2 for 5'1" of sheer perfection! Much respect for your discipline and diligence!

Have a little read of this, might be useful. Chris aceto is one of the best nutritionists around.

Good article! Think I've hit the point that I need to try carb cycling, just dropping calories and carbs isn't working anymore

Preserve muscle for bikini? If you were on of my clients, and I were to put you on anything it would be anavar. Also...how long have you be at that exact macro intake? If you've been there awhile your metabolism is surely crashed. Add more carbs twice a week included with an all macro cheat meal(carbs, protein, and fat.) pick up the intensity of your workouts( drop sets, super sets, giant sets, tri sets, etc., and pick up your cardio more. Keep your heart rate high while training, boost your metabolism, add more cardio, and you'll be fine. Almost forgot... Get l-Leucine, glutamine, and some good bcaa's and sit them all day, especially while training!

littletigar24's picture

Thank you for the suggustions! I am not naturally gifted in the glute section, that is the muscle I'm trying to hold on to. I've been dieting for 10 weeks, my fats were 10 grams higher in the beginning, lower protein. In the last couple weeks, I've lowered the fat, slowly. Think I'll take your advice and drop my rest time more and I already drop set most of my excersises. Maybe some extra carbs will give me a little kick start..I do bcaas but will check out the other two Smile

Drop sets should be implemented sparingly. Focus on giant sets, tri sets etc. You are a woman, your dominant hormone is estrogen. There for you will by nature hold more fat, and it makes it harder to loose. Keep your heart rate high throughout your sesion with short rest periods. Circuit through your training.
