Bro, i wish you the best of luck and hope to God that your wife fully recovers. My momma is finally in remission after a terrible cancer battle i wouldnt wish on anyone. I understand the fear and doubt that comes with seeing a loved one struggle so much.

As for your future cycle plan with test @ 500mg/wk i personally would go to my doctor or endo and have a legitimate prescription written with a plan for a better future. Your well being should be your doctors #1 priority! If he/she doesn't agree to hear you out or help you reach your goals then can them and find a new one. Im almost certain that being on trt would be the best route first to see what you can so without high test dosing. Ya ya a lot of guys seem to think 500mgs/wk is low, but gains can be made on less. Plus its always nice to see how you react to exogenous testosterone supplementation via bloodwork to get a sense of where you feel good at. I see you've done cycles before, but you can consider this a "restart" so to speak. If youve always had low t then i see how cycling is attractive. I also see getting put on prescribed therapy and monitored by a professional being more advantageous in the long run. You may know all of this that im saying but its still good to have a refresher from time to time.

Aside from that discipline in the kitchen along with a well thought out excercise regimen will benefit you more than running a cycle imo (granted your test levels are in order). In fact the cholesterol may just resolve itself with proper nutrition and some good ol fashion cardio! Either way hope it helps and we are all routing for yall!

Edit: just looked at profile which i should have done before my book i wrote lol you know what to do bro be safe!

Hey, thanks for the wishes, I appreciate that.
So I actually went to an Endo maybe in April or May because I was having this weird low iron issue that no one could quite explain and he was TOTALLY against TRT of any kind, I guess this is the only one in the world like this from what I gather. He was old and only talked about what an awesome President Ronald Reagan was.... weird.
I had been seeing a Dr since 2008 when I was first placed on TRT and was dosing around 375mg at the end but when my insurance stopped paying for it, that's when I started obtaining it on my own. My wife is actually a Nurse Practitioner so she could write me lab requisition at any time and does so theres no problem with me tweaking here and there.
I agree my cholesterol will level out with a good diet and some cardio.
I appreciate any info, when I was younger all of this was second nature to me but as I get older some stuff kinda fades away.
I've seen stuff you post and I totally respect anything or advice you have.
Thanks again

Storm as a cancer survivor myself of 20+ years congrats to you and your wife. Hope she pulls through with flying colors sir. Tough struggle. I know it all to well.

Thanks and congrats on you also.
I think her always being so positive even when there were times to not be has had such an impact on her treatment and hopefully the confirmation of beating it.
She's been extremely tough, a fighter and an awesome wife.
She has more courage and heart than I could or would ever have.
I learned a lesson on staying positive and being a " glass is half full " type person.
Thanks again and congrats on 20 yrs

Sorry to hear about your wife, glad she's doing better! Hope you get the results you are looking later this month. And congrats on the baby! I have young kids too so i know how hectic that is.

My opinion there is no way you should be running 750mg of test if you are 50% body fat. I know this is not what you want to hear and im sure you feel like shit, but you need to get that WAY down before you cycle. If you clean up your diet and exercise regularly your BF will drop, once you get it down then you can start looking to cycle. You could see an endo about your low T but im guessing they will say the same thing. Steroids supplement proper diet/training/sleep. Get those in order then "supplement" with Test.

I know exactly how you are feeling right now though, i had low T for over 4 years before i saw a doc. I exercised the whole time too, with T levels below 200 the gains were....slow.

Thanks buddy... I am totally kidding about 50%, I just feel like a fat toad so me putting 50 is just a joke.
If I were to guess it would be 15% - 17% at the most.
Actually i was going to start maybe at 500mg and increase to 750mg , that's been my formula in the past.
But yes I haven't started yet, I'm gonna get about a week or two in because honestly, I am sore as Hell from just a week of doing machines...
I appreciate any input though

LOL I took you literally since we do see shit like that here sometimes. You got me haha

Go slow with the weight increases as your joints and ligaments will not be able to keep up with the muscle growth and strength with the extra test in your system.

Again, congrats on the kid and good luck with your wife's test later this month. Take care.

storminmark's picture

Really?? Wow, I guess I need to stop joking then.
I will change it.
I actually turn 48 tomorrow so I need to fix that too.
Thanks for the good wishes.

Take note of your cholesterol as well my man. And please tell me you're not actually at 50% bf. +1 for testing.

storminmark's picture

Yes, I am aware of it thank you.
My wife went through cancer treatment so no gym, eating like shit while taking care of her and an 8 month old.
I knew my test would be low and cholesterol high!
My cue to get back into shape.
That's just my guess as 50%... sure feels it
Thanks for the +1

Thank you, she turned the corner in July and her last tests are later this month to see if she is in complete remission.
Nothing is more powerful than being positive and prayer... that's my 2 cents.
I'm very lucky but thank you again for your comment.
