A few guys called judge on stage will say.
You have The mentality & it’s there to create that physique keep up the motivation and lifestyle !!
Good luck on the comp !
Looking great man!
I expect to see PRO tag soon enough for you.
super pissed off physique
My man! Amazing work, WINNING!
You were a big part of these gains my friend, have been for years and will be for years to come!
Impressive progress bro, arms looking insane.
Sick art work too bro, hope the new line of work is treating you well.
Yea. brother. I'm actually happy with my craft now. Covid messed up my other job, which was good because I was miserable. Now, I found a craft that's an art form and it really doesn't feel like work at all. Thanks for the art work compliment, I started both sleeves and neck during covid lock down. I was in that shop every other week. Definitely compliments the muscles. Hope all is well on your side of the pond my friend.
++ Should definitely
Hit open BB middleweight bro how tall?
I'm just about 5,4 and that's what I was saying. But my coach explained to me that the guys competing at 176 [Middle weight] , have dropped down from well over 200lbs. So, they initially have more dense muscle Vs. me that has been at that weight for some time now. I mean, it's just a local show and it wouldn't be a bad idea. That way, I'm not suffering with depletion and such. In my eyes , I have way more to go as far as brining in my mid section tighter. I was looking at the guy who competed at my show last year and won, he didn't look great imho. In essence I'm just trying to have that Competitive edge, ya know.
I feel you bro. I’m just under 5’7 though. My first open show I dropped from maybe 188. Ended up 172 on stage. Came in 2nd to a guy that took his pro card later that year. My next show I dropped from 194. Made weight at 175 1/4. Won that show out of 7 guys. Can’t say it was much competition but won nonetheless. You never know who’s gonna be up there at a local show. Worth getting your feet wet in my opinion that’s solid muscle at your height and that weight! But that’s what we have coaches for.
Wish you the best brother. I’m walking around right now 10% 205 so no way I’ll be making middleweights again without sacrificing some muscle. Gonna put a lot of work in this off season to try to be a competitive light heavy next time I step on stage for nationals hopefully in May
I'd say it's time to move out of physique and switch over to bodybuilding.
I have been working on my legs for the last year or so brining them up to speed. My legs look pretty good, I have decent Teardrop. However, In my eyes they need more work to keep up with the big boys. I actually hit legs twice weekly. Quads one day and hams on the other. My problem is the inner thigh and hammies.
saffirestill amazing job , keep going!
TricepatopsLooking great. +1.
Thank you, I can't wait until I get my stage pics to post. Hopefully I can look full on stage and not look flat.
Solid brother
Thanks my man, I'm trying to taper my waist a bit and focus on giving an illusion of being bigger. So I've been doing rope face pulls, Dumbell pull overs and workout that target my back. Being that I have a natural thicker waist, brining out the back a legs will give the perfect illusion of symmetry. What boggles me is how flex wheeler and all these guys have a perfect looking X frame. Chiseling your body to the perfect looking proportions are the hard part.
RustyhookerYou light enough for classic? Youre thick af!!
No I'm about 15 lbs, too heavy. I'm going to carb deplete heavy for the next couple weeks. I going to start cardio heavy, twice daily. Maybe re feed sat, with burger and fries, then Sunday with some sushi. I will be right back at it Monday with no carbs, basically I will have to crawl to that scale on weigh ins because of depletion. Then that night carb load heavy, between that and Diuretics I should be fine. I dropped down from 196 now I'm 176. Classic is 160 for me. Worst case scenario I do middle weight bodybuilding. My legs are decent aswell. BUT , I want to make sure I kill the competition and have no doubt in the judges mind when it comes to my placing. It's a struggle because I love food, but it ain't always about the size of the dog in the fight, it's about the size of the fight in the dog. In essence, I will fight for it . I'm sponsored now, so it's all paid for. These compitions are expensive as shit, so I wouldn't do it if it wasn't fully paid for. But yea, good to see you still around Rusty. Hope all is well.
RustyhookerIm obviously not near your level of cuts but ya, i saw for my height that 160 and...wow! Youre at that spot where if youre above that 160...holy shit those boys better be prepped! Expensive yes! The old days i got sponsored and fee was like 50 plus your npc fee. The best part back then was having experience folks helping with all the prep, posing, free tanning, supps at cost. All those items add up so damn fast. You look on the right road and hope to see ya back with that 1st and fingers crossed...overall.
BigCactusLmao you never got sponsored for nothing...except big macs. OT: looking sharp already
Im hoping to qualify nationally again, then that same month win the national show. Worst part about this prep, is the insomnia, sex drive and heart burn are nuts. Litterly I'm not tired. I'm full of energy and I know I need to sleep. On another note... Rusty they need to sell this Cite to you man, I remember 8 years ago when I started here you had like 1200 Karma. Here it is 8 years later and your still killing it. Talk about dedication! haha
RustyhookerFolks like you keep this place alive and exciting! Real likeminded brothers just pushing forward regardless of distraction. I keep reading apple cider vinegar fixes the heartburn. Tsp in small cup of water but i cant get passed the smell. Lol!
