I'm not sure if it is infected. This lump is below the actual injection site. This is what it looks like after a week. If it was just a lump I wouldn't be to worried but its pretty red. I took my temperature and its normal. At what point do I call this an abscess and go to my doctor?

So basically the state of this abscess has improved drastically. It is no longer red or elevated. There is still a little hardness under the skin I think but I can't really tell. It no longer hurts to move my arm. The only sign that there was ever anything wrong is some dried peeling skin around the perimeter. I still have enough antibiotics to last until next Tuesday and I plan on finishing them all. I've been injecting the same oil and I've come to the conclusion that my body just doesn't like EO. I started cutting the EO with b12. It helps but not that much. I've also tried reducing the amount I'm injecting in each muscle to only .25ml. That helps more than just cutting with the b12 but pinning 4 times in one sitting makes me feel like garbage. Idk why I'm ranting off topic. Sorry.

Kinda looks like a staff infection to me. I'm not a doctor but I would suggest you c a doctor today if you haven't already. Alpha tiger was talking bout me in his post my ass cheek looked like I had a baseball in it lol. Was horrible red and feverish. Pretty sure mine was from the gear I've had some leave Lil knot before and b sore for a couple days but nothing like the knot alpha was talking about. I've also had a staff infection before and let me tell u it sucked bad. If that is what u got you will definitely need some antibiotics. Better hit the er or your doctor. Don't be messing with it and touching shit around your house if it's staff it's highly contagious. I messed with mine not knowing what it was and my whole family ending up catching the shit. wow man ..... I just injected in my glut the other day and could no sit down or walk for a couple of days but it did not look like that . I would go to the hospital but thats just me just to be safe

My buddy had that problem with Frankie's gear and his ass swelled up like a baseball and was red as fuck and hot to the touch and he could barley walk and I suggested sitting on a heating pad and it helped but I didn't look like that
So I went to urgent care. The doc asked me if I had a history of mrsa. That made me laugh. She confirmed it was an abscess. I got a prescription for keflex/cephalexin at 500mg four times a day for 10 days and a referral for surgery if it doesn't get better by next weekend. I'd like to thank everyone who left a comment either voicing their concern or offering advice. Ill let everyone know how this turns out. Hopefully it will be gone before next weekend.

Bro, if that is your upper arm you are injecting way too low. There is very little muscle there to hit.
I injected in the correct spot. The lump formed about 4 inches below the spot I pinned. So it traveled.
I was just trying to figure out what part of the arm that was. Looks way to low.

I'm going tomorrow. It didn't develop right away. It took about two days before it started getting bad. And yea I was using test 500mg/ml in high percentage EO oil. I read around that alot of people have bad reactions to EO but that it goes away after about a week so I just kept a heating pad on it for a few days.

The other thing is I injected the same amount of this same lab in my tricep the same day to split the volume per muscle and my tricep got red and puffy but is fine now. I was hoping this would go down too but hasn't. Btw the injection was in my delt and this abscess developed about 4 inches down.

Its about an inch and a half to two inches across. Could the gear still be sterile and I just had a negative reaction to the EO? This is the first time I shot EO and it was from an UGLY. My other oil is pharma and I had no problems. Ahh fuck me.

Take a 18g pin and ......never mind go to the doctor. A staph infection could look like nothing one day and then a big gaping hole the next. If you have insurance I would go to the emergency room that way you do not have to listen to you doctors shit for years after. It could just be a allergic reaction but why take the chance. If you are afraid of what the ER doc will think just remember there have been plenty of people fall in the show and somehow end up with some ridiculous object up their ass.

If you have any left over antibiotics take them. I pinned once and had a bad reaction. Ibuprofen, antibiotics, ice the spot. Hell even alittle neosporin can help. Anytime you pin you can hit a capillary or nerve. Ive had anthrax vaccinations that swelled for two weeks. Dont freak out just yet bro. Watch your temp, blood pressure and give it some Tlc.
