+ 10 Health for progress

ad

This is a picture I took of myself the day before I started my first cycle.
I have always been a firm believer in being as healthy as possible. I see a lot of people at my gym and online on gear that look like they haven’t put in the work to get healthy and fit before they jumped on the sauce.
I 100% believe in people doing what they want but obviously the goal is to look/feel better for us all, and it has been my experience that the healthier you are the better your results on cycle. Not to mention the ramifications on the body…
This doesn’t apply to true TRT or HRT, I think those are a great catalyst toward a healthier lifestyle. But what’s up with the complex cycles for people with fat covering everything?
I’ve tried a lot of shit, never ran any “pro” doses of anything, but I’ve tried all the drugs I thought would be worthwhile. After all this experience, I have settled on low dose testosterone and GH as my favorite look/feel.
None of the drugs I have taken have had the impact on my physique that a really well-planned, clean, consistent diet has had.
I am not a bodybuilder by any means, and I don’t think most of us are. For guys like me, it doesn’t take much to get the desired look.

All this to say, take care of yourselves, brothers/sisters.

Looking good mate. To play devils advocate I will say that healthy diet and training are always a good idea. However, the best physique I’ve had was from poor diet, less training and running test, var and hgh. This is not to advocate bad behaviour from non experienced, younger members but simply my truthful experience after many years of lifting, dieting and eventually running a few cycles.

I’ve seen that as well and see your point. I’ll counter and say to imagine how good your physique could have been, or how much healthier you would have been, or how much better you could have felt.
However, sometimes I think a fucking cheeseburger is necessary.

Totally appreciate that. I ran my first cycle of test and dbol at 37 having what I thought was peaked, strict diet, training and calorie/macro counting. Fast forward 5 years and was naturally out lifting my younger self without gear having had injuries and time off gym. At 43 decided to run test and dbol again and strength went through the roof. Ate as much as I could and diet went out the window. Since then have taken growth and stayed on test, diet is poor and not training with anywhere near the intensity of before. Probably have best physique of my life alongside libido and confidence better than ever before. Happy with taking a more relaxed view on training and diet but appreciate it’s not popular to advertise steroids over health. Everything in moderation might be a better heading for this message. All that aside, impressive physique you’ve built on hard work mate. +1

Thank you sir

I think you look amazing! Diet is the biggest part of getting the physique you want along with working out. The other stuff is just to help that along.

schecterc1h's picture

I agree

looking great. what is your age? you have an AWESOME look towards gear and AAS and more people should think like you. AAS are an aid to help you. They are not the main thing in your fitness regime. I always have looked at it like this:

1.) Food/Diet/Nutrition
2.) Sleep
3.) Fitness/Gym/Training
4.) Gear

It looks like you believe in the same or somewhat of the same theory. Keep kick ass!

Thank you. I am 35 but this photo was taken about 7 years ago.

If only all beginners (including me once upon a time) were this smart and started their first cycle in this or similar form!
Diet, whether you're working on mass or definition, is actually the key to success in this sport, and actually the hardest part. Kudos to being in shape and kudos to moderation. That's the right, smart way.

Thank you. I think people think guys tell them that diet is more important than gear because they don’t want to share the real secret or something but I think that IS the secret. For me, more gear = more side effects.

What’s your diet like brother

schecterc1h's picture

It’s eggs, meat, plain Greek yogurt, fruits, veggies, rice, and sourdough bread. Nothing else but spices and salt. No alcohol, no refined sugar. If I have a sweet craving I’ll drink a Zevia soda.
I don’t count macros but I eat 1.5 pounds of meat and 4 eggs per day. 2 cups of plain 2% Greek yogurt. As much fruit and veggies as I want. One slice of sourdough with my eggs at breakfast and one ice cream scoop sized ball of rice with lunch.
I have a weird way of eating and I don’t count anything but if I want to lose fat I just adjust the meat sources for leaner meats and maybe cut the rice or a serving or two of fruit.

Man you look great! What’s your body weight and height here? Also what are your test and gh doses if you don’t mind me asking

schecterc1h's picture

And at the moment I’m doing 25mg test per day and 3 IU growth hormone. But this is my first run with GH… loving it so far for the skin look and sleep quality.

That mindset will serve you well

Think most would be pretty happy with that physic especially for vag and the beach honestly. Plus it's doable with low dosages and just eating clean or atleast watching it cals and what not

schecterc1h's picture

Very achievable without any roids.
