I did one of those with my cousins and sister when we were kids. The thing moved on its own, and that's what i thought until about 2 years ago when i saw my cousin on the holidays. I was mentioning how crazy it was that the thing moved on it's own and if they remembered. And my cousin said she did it. I couldn't believe it because the way the thing moved wasn't just back and forth. With point staying straight. The point was actually turning like on a Cresent path as it went from side to side. And the movements were so mechanical. I would have still thought something made it move to this day had she not said anything.
