+ 5 Getting control of my diabetes
I just want to share the progress I have made over almost a year.
When I was about to turn 30 .. found out I had type 1 diabetes and then started using insulin. Always attended the gym and playing sports like basketball, rowing and working out ...
I was not believing this was happening to me and before discovering diabetes had lost 26lb in two months ... was too weak ...
But with insulin the things improved but I gained a lot of weight and never took care of the diet again ...
in the 2nd picture I was 209lb and a very high amount of body fat to muscle.
After 10 months training hard and with a proper diet I'm 224lb and BF around 18% ... this is what the scale says.
And for next month I[m going to run a cycle with Test E and EQ that I got from Big D.. I will post later a cycle log..

Looking great brother! You've made both excellent and impressive progress! So happy to hear you've got your diabetes under control and are feeling better! Take care of yourself and keep up with your diet! Nicely accomplished! +1 for enduring your hardships and taking control! You're going to rock this cycle! Keep the pics coming,
sweet bro im also a type 1 diabetic... nice to see you here...
its all about mental strength ive never let it effect me from day one...
+1 good progress
sm4llAwesome bro.. we should share some tips.. I'm type 1 for almost 3yrs.. I don't know too much about working out + insulin... I'm still learning the good/bad of insulin on daily basis and work out with it.
For how long do you know about your type 1?
Thanks
My training partner went through the same thing so I know how hard it can be on you, especially from a motivation point of view. He was a competitive strongman competitor one minute, 6 months later an "average" bench presser at best. Nearly broke the guy, but he's back with a vengeance.
You've made great progress, well done +2. Look after your health and keep that diet 100% and you'll beat it.
sm4llYes, it is very tough ... I remember before I learned about diabetes, climb a few flights of stairs was a difficult task ... I was losing muscles because my body did not manufacture insulin and only way was to burn muscles to create energy.
