+ 1 Gave the Big Boys a turn

ad

Been working with the 85s for 12 reps getting pretty easy so I gave the 110s a shot tonight after a warm up (yea there's a gap in my set after 85s, mixed set of 100s then 110s). Got 6 reps on the first set, and 8.5 on the second. Couldn't lock em out :-{ Couple more with these and I'll give the 120s a shot. Its not easy getting the big ones in place but feels so good when you get em! Then I'll have to find bigger ones. LOL ;-P

Gorillafit's picture

Thanks suzy b, I figure showing everybody what an old, I mean slightly middle aged guy can achieve should give them some drive! LOL ;-P

Effing killing it!!!!!! Youll be throwing up 120s in no time, probably already can.

Gorillafit's picture

Thanks Park, I hit 120s for 2 reps a few months back at a Golds but thats when I was trying those heavy singles and shit that got me hurt. I'm working smarter now, it takes a lil longer but.....

Gorillafit's picture

Thanks Raider, Might be cause there is a game plan this time, now that I found Eroids!
Not trying to make the younger guys jealous, just trying to be the best me I can be.
A couple second looks from the younger girls on the other hand.... LOL ;-P

I told you about those exersizes, they work. To me it doesnt seem to be holding you back though. When I had tennis elbow, thier would be no way possible for me to get the 110's up by myself. Due to the loction of the tear, when I go to fling them up with my knees it would just tear it more. I dont have a spotter, so I train alone. However, there are like three people that want me to train with them. I may have to due that to grow. Someone to hand the dumbell to me while im layin down.

You train at home??? I can tell by the pics you post. Im likeing your gains. Keeps me on my toes.

Gorillafit's picture

I never used any of those exercises, just followed my Drs advice (sorta), wore the support 24/7 except in the shower, took the anti inflamatories and babied it (kept the weight down and remained STRICT) he wanted me to stop ALL curls and stay LITE on pulls (Fuck That). I don't kick them up with my knees, just hold them straight up on my thighs lay down and take them out to the sides. No spotter, my wifes too small, she can barely help with a lift off on flat bench. (she did get second in a bench comp years ago with a 120lb lift at 5'1" and 105lbs though, she's strong, she's more into shape now than strength).
At home when I'm here, I travel a lot for work so I try to pick hotels by their exercise rooms or if they have passes to a gym near by. It keeps my workouts varied too.

subs33's picture

Hey thanx, Ima try that today after class. 110 is some heavy weight. It would suck if one dropped on my face..lol

Gorillafit's picture

C'mon, how much worse could it make it? LOL ;-P
Try to keep your hands = or inside your elbows. Once the big boys get to the outside they're a bitch to get back in and will end your set. Good luck!

subs33's picture

I tell you what your a bigger man then me. I went to the gym today and just looked at the 110's. I know I can do it, cause I usually do incline with 85's reps of 15. Just fling them up mith my knee. But I dont have that tendenitis right now and would hate to tear it right when im gaining from my cycle. Good job bro..

I might try that technique next time though. Some good advice..thanx

Thanks CA, gettin younger everyday Bro!

Damn! 110lb DB's are incredible pat! U definitely are improving by day man, tren is a hell of a compound.....lol

Gorillafit's picture

Thanks Macleod, the hard part is bringing them up and postioning them as I lay back. Gotta strengthen the forearms! I like Tren, I don't get the bad sides everybody talks about. Sometimes I wonder if they've ever done Tren. Tren Hex broke my cherry last summer I ran it solo then, this time I have a Test base and Deca help. Got another month til the end of the contest then plannning to run an extra 4 weeks. LOL ;-P

subs33's picture

Then another 4 weeks..lol Are you goin to do TRT OR pct. Im goin to PCT and take of gear for about a year.

Gorillafit's picture

TRT, I'll taper down to cruise dose, drop some more fat, then blast through the Summer.

Bigdawg201067's picture

Wow, full beast mode here bro, what are you running? It looks like things are falling into place, i follow your posts, keep it up man inspiration to all of us.

Gorillafit's picture

Bro, thats the thing, I been holding back cause of this forearm and not wanting to scare the wife. But I'm slowly letting the chain out (as far as routine intensity). Right now 5iu HGH ed, 1ml Centrino Cyp, Deca, and Tren 100 e3d, I started last week 1ml SML NPP, Tren Ace and Bocaggz Prop eod to kickstart the e3d Deca and Tren, that'll be done this week (shoulda just frontloaded it but didn't think about it, I'm new to this, but have learned a lot here). I always forget the Var cause its oral, was BD 50mg/d on workout days, just switched to 30mg Centrino Var as a test.
Oh, 50mcg T4 for the HGH and 25 Aromasin cause I'm fat. LOL ;-P
