+ 11 Ending offseason, entering precontest

This is the end of my offseason “bulk”. I don’t like to say bulk these days as I’m not going for maximum size, I was just looking to improve my weak points, my triceps and chest.

Dragonpharmastore came through with the 10 Deca promo and I want to publicly thank them, review to come. The deca 300 is smooth, no pip, and I would say overdosed. When I switched from another brand at the same dose my scale weight went up 3 or 4 pounds without a change in diet so I ended up dropping a cc from my original planned dose and still making great progress.

This is a very convenient compound, I even experimented with pinning once a week but started to get a little gyno flare, went back to biweekly shots and it went away.

My joints have been juicy as fuck and I’ve stayed very full. I run high deca zero test now and have little to no sides. I don’t recommend this for everyone but if you’re estrogen prone or have trouble with higher levels of test it may be an option for you.

I want to address my back. As you can see it has shrunk. I had a tear somewhere between my upper lat and rhomboid on my left side, I feel like something is missing or separated there. No pain but it feels off so if anyone has had a similar experience please share what you did to fix it. It’s been 2 months since I’ve trained any pulling motion. Bicep curls and rear delt raises only for now.

To bring up my chest and triceps I trained them twice a week and pinned 5 or 6 units of gh preworkout only on those days. I think that I’ve actually built some permanent muscle with this protocol but I need to take some measurements with a tape to be sure.

I’ll be doing a detox/clear out of my system before starting my contest prep cycle and checking bloodwork to ensure everything is good to go.

Fuck this corona virus. Let’s make 2020 the best year yet and fuck some shit up out there!

This is going to be a good year. I keep trying to get the scale down but my body just wants to grow. May need to go back to some intermittent fasting to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

I know my weaknesses and I will eventually make them my strengths.

Mind sharing how you brought up chest so quickly? I know it’s a different pose but there is clearly a decent amount of mass added.

I may end up doing a full post on this but I’ll give you the cliff notes.
You are correct, primo, then two months off, then deca.

In terms of the food, I went low carb/keto on my back and leg days. Then higher carbs on chest and tris. This was to make sure my insulin response was optimal. I also introduced intra workout liquid carbs for priority days.

In training I scaled back the volume on non-priority days. I skipped legs completely for a couple months. John meadows had an interview a while back where he talked about muscle past 10 years. If you’ve really been hitting it hard and eating right and using anabolics you shouldn’t expect massive gains to continue. But for the sake of balance, you can accelerate certain muscles by taking muscle away from other parts of the body and adding it to need areas. This process is MUCH faster for tissue accumulation in the desired area but obviously comes with the caveat of muscle lost in other areas. For me that would be my back and legs. I trained chest and triceps twice a week exactly 3.5 days apart. AM Monday PM Thursday. Everything else was once a week or not at all except abs and calves.

In terms of drugs, I used hgh in a high dose on my priority days only. Twice a week. I would also pin injectable Dbol or Anadrol preworkout for priority days. Then between 900 and 1200 mgs of deca. I think the hgh plays the biggest role in this type of regimen. You have more satellite cells because you aren’t blasting it day in and day out and your insulin resistance isn’t compromised so the cells you do build are being fed immediately.

Lastly, I ditched the bench press.
I know, blasphemy right? I just never felt it in my pecs. I switched to almost entirety cable flys. Like an hour plus of cable flys superset with various tricep extensions and shoulder raises. That’s it. Never more than 45 pounds. All 20 rep sets. For me, I got a contraction like never before training this way. It is still too early to tell, but when I diet down to 212 (currently 247) I think the strategies I’ve implemented will show their results.

That or I wasted another year lol, we’ll see.

Do you think the high carb / low carb days helped? Rather than moderate/high carb all the way?

I ditched bench press a couple of years ago in favour for flys, Flatjack a member on here recommended it. I saw the biggest improvement I had for a long time. I still hit bench here and there but my main chest workouts revolve around flys.

All your recommendations are working brilliantly by the way mate, even early on I’m hitting a big growing phase. I’ll send you a pm shorty, hope you’re alright we are living in some crazy times.

After I mentioned the flys I got a few messages from guys saying the same, it’s like some big secret nobody was sharing!

I do think the nutrient timing is important for balance and targeted growth. We all come up hearing “eat big get big”. And you do need that approach to reach a certain base level of development. If you just continue to hammer carbs, AAS, HGH every day, ultimately you’ll end up with just a bigger version of the physique you already have.

It makes sense, your body can only support so much anabolism and functions like glycogen loading and hyperplasia seem to work better in pulses rather than trickling nonstop.

Flys were the only thing which made my chest grow like a mofo, those and weighted dips.

I may try to carb load on my leg days while I recomp on my current blast. Wouldn’t be to complicated to set up.

Won’t be running GH while I’ve got so much on but I’ve been threatening to do it next year.

I love me some nasty leg days, passing out, puking, falling over and crying. Carb load those bitches up and come ready for war. 75 mgs of anadrol and some high carbs to start your day and you’ll be bangin and clangin!

Cable flys are one of my all time fav exercises ...if i don't use them i dont feel like a did a chest workout...theres so many variations to standing seated high mid or low pull in a flat bench or incline...when gary strydom made comeback for the Colorado pro he had an interview with flex i think and thats all he was doing for his chest different types of cable flyes
