I always do double reds with my blood type, smaller needle but gets rid of more rbc and can be enough to help two patients. I do once every 6-8 weeks ive dine it sooner. Just depends there are 4 places by me and they don't share info. One only comes down once every 6 months. So it does matter if I gave a few days before ill do it again. Im always at thr top of the range for my hemacrit like 17 something. And even after I gave that time and a few days later it was still at 14 somethingalmost 15 still so still safe eenough to give. Its a good thing to donate helps a lot of people
