Great look, I really like that taper from the back, even in a relaxed position it shows well.

Is your height accurate? Your arms look long. Your triceps and shoulders may be taking over a bit on your chest work. Start every chest day with some kind of deep stretched fly or fly/press variant. Get that blood in the muscle and pre-fatigue the pecs before any heavy pressing.

Big + from the Beard

Zeus 123's picture

Shoulders and tris are taking over defenetly, gonna back of those for abit and focus on chest, yes that my eight I guess I long arms or its an illusion cause over couple of muscle groups that over power, thanksfor the critique brother...

What movements do you do for your back mate - do you do deads?

In a promo × 1
Zeus 123's picture

Stopped doing deads about 4 years ago, getting old some movements like dead and flat bench barbell I do on the Smith machine these days
Wide grip lat pull down behind the head
Bent over t bar rows
And my third exercise I usually do a new one every time

Bearded_muscle's picture

Ditch the wide grip

Replace with single arm neutral grip, firing all that intensity into one lat at a time has really helped me take density, size, and detail to that next level. The back is a huge muscle so it makes sense that isolating sides could have benefit. Both the CNS energy needed to maximally stimulate the tissue and the oxygen debt accrued are extremely high. You can still throw some wide grips in after the tbar rows if you like them as more of a pump/burnout movement.

Might do that will see..

That's what I've heard, man been lifting since I was 15, at 21 started the cycle thing at 25 I did my first competition and won the overall at 31, won the same show boston Loyd won the year before, gotta say that mofo was crazy but when I so him backstage the year before I won the overall, that dude looked sick in 2014 looked like a fucking black night on steroids, that's the only year he looked great.

In a promo × 1
press1's picture

He was only really around briefly just as I got into steroids, I didn't really know who he was or much about him until he suddenly died. It was always going to happen though with the blood pressure he was regularly running. I watched one of his vids where he said his BP was normally at 200/110 plus and he was laughing about it. I honestly don't know how someone can walk around with it at that pressure, let along train on it when it will go up even higher.

High blood pressure and kidney disfunction don't match, almost a death sentence, like in this case, I also met Ariella palumbo his wife, she was hot Smile

What are you doing for chest development bro? What have you tried?

Ime, when you have a lagging body group it really helps to prioritize it twice a week or at least every 4-5 days, and back off wherever your strong points are hitting them less often. Sticking with progressive overload. Periodization. Optimal nutrition rest and supplementation.

Zeus 123's picture

Yep that's what I'm doing

In a promo × 1
Rosschestzip's picture

With some body parts I found less is more. Like I would hit biceps 2 times a week. Once in back and biceps and then again on arm day. And they wouldn’t grow at all. I dropped arm day and do very little for them on back day, just doing the heavy pulling movements as been enough and they started growing. But that’s just me I guess

In a promo × 1
Zeus 123's picture

Absolutely agree with less is more, in fact I'm backing off the dominant muscles for a bit.

In a promo × 1
Rosschestzip's picture

For me not all muscle groups need the same thing. Like i said above biceps needed more rest or less volume to grow but my chest seems to respond Better with more, or at least more frequent training. If I only hit it once a week, it seems to almost start shrinking by the next chest day, so I have to do chest twice a week. And all the other muscle groups I haven’t totally figured out what’s best yet
