+ 5 2.5 Years on Low Dose Clomiphene
So a quick exposition. My baseline test sits between 600-800. I've cycled in the past with a number of AAS and growth. You can have a look at prior pictures that I've posted to see historical lab work and results.
For this, a friend and I wanted to try something different. Something that did not shut us down. Something with low overhead and little maintenance. Most of the data out there is anecdotal so we wanted to experiment on ourselves in terms of a long term clomid regimen.
Initially, we reached out to a bunch of labs to try and concoct Enclomiphene Citrate for us so we could avoid the Zuclomiphene isomer all-together, but in the end, it was far too cost prohibitive. So we experimented with the doses to find that sweet spot and after some tweaking here and there, we came to the following:
25mg Clomid taken Monday and Thursday every week
And that's it. No AI. No HCG. No growth. Just the clomid and some regular over the counter vitamins. We used Alpha Pharma brand, but this stuff is so widely available, I am sure that any will do.
Libido, mood, pump, everything has been for the most part better than baseline. Every once in a while I notice a drop in libido, but its usually short lived and reflective of my diet and exercising habits.
I do still need to find an effective way to lower my SHBG, but even at that level, libido has generally been okay.
To be honest, after trying so many different compounds, its been nice have something that nearly doubles my baseline test with such little maintenance. Of course, I do plan on cycling in the future, but this was more or less an experiment to provide folks with another option if they are truly terrified of pinning or something. And I know that more doctors are prescribing clomid for men with hypogonadism and similar deficiencies, but there isn't much long term data out there. And even 2.5 years realistically isn't that long, but it may help.
But enough of me talking. Have a look at my bloods. Let me know what you think. Any questions, I'd be happy to answer!

Thanks for testing this....+
+2 for bloods.
Low free test
Yeah, hopefully the inclusion of Boron can help with that.
hello, thanks, this helps me a lot! you deserve ++
did you do a pct afer aas before to jump in this protocol? or did you switch to this protocol directly when you stopped aas?
Very happy to help man!
And yeah, I had done a full PCT protocol at the end of my last AAS cycle a couple years back (end of 2015).
HCG (8 shots of 1000iu's EOD for 16 days)
Geneza Clomid (150/150/100/100/50/50)
Geneza Nolva (X/X/20/20/10/10)
DAA at 3mg per day
Afterwards, I transitioned to low-dose GH only realizing that clomid actually interferes with IGF1 production. And then some time in 2017 I stopped everything all together before hopping on this clomid regimen and here we are today.
ok, thank you very much for your detailed experiece man ;) !
Manateeswimmer5678Very interesting and thanks for the bloodwork! Have you looked into boron for shbg? Most of us don't get enough in our diet. It's very good at freeing up test from shbg I do 3mg everyday. Also the bun elevated may be from the daily oral use. Are you using any supps to maintain liver health?
Ahh, now that you mention it, I do remember reading about boron but it had slipped my mind. I'll definitely have a look and give that a shot. Thanks!
As for liver health, no. The only additional vitamins I take regularly are a multi, vitamin D, C, fish oil, zinc, magnesium, and B6. But as far as I am aware, a lower BUN reading would be indicative of a liver issue, not high. High BUN is usually associated with kidney issues. I honestly didn't pay too much attention to it because I know for certain I did not drink enough water prior to this pull, so I just figured it was a result of dehydration. You've piqued my interest though so I've got some more researching to do.
Manateeswimmer5678Yes you're correct apologies for the misunderstanding. Bun indicates liver health via production and kidney effectiveness via excretion which can be better diagnosed with Bun/Cr ratio. Definitely check out boron, I had more pily skin and acne after two monthes with it and trt only
Awesome, just placed the order. Excited to give a shot. Will let you know how it works out! If I can lower SHBG enough to free up some more Test, I'd be very happy! Thanks again man!
