Horrible when someone dies but this is just crazy bc it can happen to anyone with this disorder and you don't even know that you have it sometimes apparently.

I really don't like that they're trying to blame it on protein/supplements. She died from having a disease, not eating healthy food. She could've eaten too much chicken and died... They wouldn't be blaming the chickens now would they?

Don't matter how much she took if it was more protein than you could pretty much eat in a day then the only way to do it would be protein powder but it's just protein powder and not going to stop making it or anything just because of this and they demonized ass all the time it's nothing new in this world that's how they are

Damn 25yr old she was in great shape also.
1 in 8000 that doesn't sound very rare to me that seems like alot of people have this syndrome.
I wonder what amount of protien she was taking in.

Yeah I would like to know that too but your figure since she had that disorder most people without it would have been able to break the amount down more than likely

It's more like her body wasn't utilizing and breaking it down properly. Including myself and a few other buddies of mine we can't consume protein powders because it makes me nauseous.

The early days of protein powders were awful for me also as I'm lactose intolerant but didn't know I was or what this even was. It was by pure chance some years later that as Isolate powders became more common I realised I could drink these with no problems and put 2 and 2 together and was no longer in agony. How on earth do you manage to eat enough to get all the grams you need in the day then? must be tough, I feel awful if I don't get at least one shake a day now my body is so use to it.....

You sure it iant because the amount of lactose in the proteins? I know if I have protien especially casein I get stomach pains like a muthafucker. dairy products we aren't meant to consume after 4 or5. There are lactose free protien powders on the market. Protizyme best protein around microfilterated to 10 × most are once and the best ones are 2 or 3 times this is 10 times and the taste is amazing.

I'm not too sure... I'll try it out. I haven't drank protein in a long time
