+ 4 Fixing me, Not you

Default - Use Group's defaults.

What a freedom I felt when this passage was pointed out to me! Suddenly I saw that I could do something about my anger, I could fix me, instead of trying to fix them. I believe that there are no exceptions to the axiom. When I am angry, my anger is always self-centered. I must keep reminding myself that I am human, that I am doing the best I can, even when that best is sometimes poor. So I ask God to remove my anger and truly set me free.

We gotta give ourself a break sometimes, try to be a better person today and even better the day after etc, sometimes we have to carrry the burdens of others when they know not what they do. Good luck. Amen

I did a lot of things that I regret in anger while overseas. Especially when my friends went down. A few years ago I had to fix myself for my family. I too ask God everyday for strength and wisdom when my PTSD flares up because I’m only hurting myself and my loved ones around me.
