I am still very much sober and clean just took another year today . I just want to reach out and give a little background and color for my appsence I have a wife that very much struggles with our disease like most of us . This past oct her mom died and she needed me by her side with very little distraction. I am glad to say she also was able to sussefuly take another year of clean time right along with me.. Let me just say I am back youkon Jack and auto. We where only able to walk thru this tuff and troublesome time with the fellowship of NA and our selfless service of other along with a little working knowledge of the 12 steps

Apologies not needed. U we’re taking care of life.
I appreciate the accountability.
We use to have a roll call whe I first started with Auto& u.
If we could just do a weekly check in , we’ll all benefit from it.
If it don’t apply, let it fly.
Glad ur family is doing better& she stayed sober.
Thanks for checking in bro.
Check in weekly( or daily , post something up if u want to share). This floor is open to ANYONE who has a desire to stop drinking, drugging,& anything that has regret attached to it .
Much Respect
YukonJack

Congratulations~! on another year Bro'. just glad to hear from ya'. I read Gratitude in your share. Life on life's terms ain't easy. We do this together. Never alone. You are living Recovery, in spite of adversity.
Tonight, I was so grateful to hear from a man I sponsored and hadn't heard from in long time. He has over 17 months clean now, living like 1,000 miles away from me. So glad people make the effort after it's been awhile. Thanks group.

Never feel like you have to apologize to anyone in these rooms mate, nobody will ever think bad of you or judge you. I hope your wife is feeling a little better than she was, I dread the day I lose a parent. Its funny how our mentality changes and our approach to dealing with things like this when we have become sober, I was hit with quite a few family deaths within the first several years of me quitting which normally would have led to me drinking heavily for the next several days . Now when difficult times it, its the absolute last thing i want to do together with the horrific hangover on top of how bad things already are. Never forget how far we have come in the journey :-)
